I recently purchased these cordless white roller blinds with a frame, and I’m thrilled with the overall quality. The fabric feels premium and durable, and they effectively block out light, creating a cozy and private atmosphere. They’ve also added a touch of elegance to the room, blending beautifully with the decor. The blinds roll very smoothly, which makes them a pleasure to use daily. However, I did run into an issue with installation—due to my mistake in measuring, I didn’t account for the trim around the inside of the window frame. As a result, the blinds don’t fit inside the frame as they should. This is entirely on me, but it’s worth noting for anyone purchasing these blinds to measure carefully, including any trim. Although slightly tedious to hang, they look and feel fantastic once up. If you’re looking for blinds that are both functional and stylish, these are an excellent choice and a great value.

A very functional blackout shade with insulated white backing and a smooth grey inside face. The edges are cut very cleanly for a clean, modern look. The pull is a plastic handle that snaps onto the bottom which has an aluminum rod inside. The whole affair is much nicer and more robust than the old-fashioned shades with string pulls and a wooden rod at the bottom. And those older shades did not block sunlight or provide any insulation. The mounting brackets are updated as well. They are easily installed with screws, and they snap onto the top rail with a positive audible snap. Again, much different than the old-fashioned side mounts with the small hole to hold up the shade. This one is more akin to how modern blinds are hung. The end result of all these newer features is a very even and clean look with none of the curling you see with older shades. And the light blocking and insulating properties are excellent. We have widows that are set at a depth of 7-1/2" which made inside mounting a no brainer. We like these better than mini blinds because there is no rod to change slat angles or cord for raising and lowering the blinds. When these shades are rolled up there is nothing to detract or impede the view.

I have placed this ChrisDowa Cordless Blackout Roller Shade over the window on the door leading from my laundry room to the garage. The shade does not come with a valance however the fascia is a decent substitute. The ChrisDowa shade works flawlessly. The adjustable clutch mechanism that controls the raising and lowering of the shade works like a well-oiled machine. The hem bar – the lowest part of the shade has a great tactile feel as does every component. The paint is impeccable, the shade appears durable, and the entire shade is one holistic mechanism. The pull-down handle that one has to attach to the hem bar has a very impressive feel – a nice feel. I have placed the ChrisDowa shade on a door that I open and close several times a day whereas the shade itself is rarely lowered or raised. I will have to find a couple of hooks for the end caps of the hem bar to keep the shade from swaying when I open or close the door. The ChrisDowa shade is a terrific addition to my home. It is a five-star product.

I received this with the end of the box torn and missing. So when I pulled out the blind I realized I have no hardware so I can't even put it up. However, it does seem pretty nice and rolls open easy. It would block sun well. I noticed there was some specks like the paint was coming off or something by the area where it pulls down.

I ordered this roller shade to use for a interior/exterior glass in wooden door that leads to my patio from my main living area. The shade came well packaged with all necessary hardware and brackets to mount to the door surface. Mounting was straightforward and the shade performs well blocking all light. The shade lies close enough to the door surface that very little light escapes around the glass/wooden interface or border. The shade extends and retracts easily by simply grasping the lower surface and guiding the shade downward or upward in relation to the roller assembly. I ordered the grey color and you can see in the above pictures the color is a faint grey, not dark, on one side and a white color on the reverse. The shade has a slightly textured surface to the vinyl and appears it can be easily wiped down or cleaned if needed. The shade did not come with a valence of any type so if that is important in your application, please note. I think for the price point, this is a good quality shade and can recommend it based on my experience to this point. I hope my review and pictures will help you decide if this roller shade is appropriate for your application. Thanks for reading!
