We really like these shades. They are really easy to install. Only takes a few minutes with a power screwdriver or a little longer with just a regular screwdriver. The fit is good. It's very easy to pull down and push back up. We got the black shades and they block nearly 100% of the light out. The only light coming in is around the edges and that's very minimal. Overall, these blackout roller shades are awesome. We have motorized shades in half of our windows and these roller shades in windows that don't matter as much and honestly these shades look just as good as the expensive motorized shades.

These are quality shades and extremely well put together. They're as easy to install as any other blinds set, easier with two people of course, as long as you have a power drill. The mounting hardware is included. They block light as long as you have them flush to the window frame. Ours is the black color, so there is no light bleed. I would say they're a good value because they work so well, but they are currently pricier than some similar options here.

This set of blinds works great in that it was easy to install and pulled down very easy. I put it up in a matter of minutes. It stayed put as I pull it down and push it up without shifting. It retracts and extends very easily.

This is a really, really nice window shade. It is white on both sides and thick enough as to feel substantial. It has they say insulation qualities. Holding it up to the sun I can tell you that it is absolutely opaque. when I was a kid we had pull down window shades but this one is worlds apart and better in every respect than they were. It does up and down at a touch & it stays where you leave it. In fact that smooth operation is my favorite thing about its operation. I should also note that I appreciate the thick and substantial material it's made of. When pulled down the shade is absolutely flat & it looks superb. Yes this is an expensive shade but IMHO it is worth the cost Everything about it is high quality . I am very happy with it.

This ChrisDowa window shade's quality is outstanding, color is lovely and the mechanism works flawlessly to lower and raise the shade. The front of the shade (side that faces inward) has a textured surface that looks upscale. The top area where the shade rests when rolled up is not intrusive to the window and stands alone looking professionally manufactured and painted. When lowered this shade preserves privacy and does a great job of blocking out the sun and stray lights at night. I remember when a shade miiiiggghhhtttt cost $10 at the most! Those days are gone and in price and quality comparisons this attractive shade holds it own in the price category. The hardware to hang the shade is included and was correct. There is some work involved in hanging the shade but that is time well spent. I ordered the gray color shade which is a dark gray and very attractive.

This shade is perfect for a kitchen or bathroom window, or really just about anywhere. It is well made, and the quality is very good. I like how the shade itself has a subtle pattern. It was very simple to install, and fit my window perfectly. It raises and lowers with ease. What an improvement over the old fashioned roller shades we used to use! This works like a dream. It’s a total blackout as well. The only consideration is that you may want the gadget they recommend in the instructions to help raise and lower the shade when the handle is a bit out of reach. This is not included but would be helpful to have. I would not hesitate to order this item again. Highly satisfied!

Comes with everything needed to install. Installation is pretty straightforward and doesn't take too long, or too much effort. I was able to do this on my own without help. Put this on a bedroom window that gets a lot of sun and it does well blocking a lot of the light. The shade itself has a nice texture to it so it's not just a bland black shade, it adds a bit of design element to it. It works great, rolls smooth and does what we need it to do - I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a DIY shade install.
