I ordered this blind to use in a bathroom window. This window gets extreme amount of sun and makes my bathroom very hot. The blind blocks most of the light except for around the edges because it was rolled up incorrectly, or maybe even damaged in the box and it wavy on the end. I ordered black and I like the way it’s textured. It’s fairly easy to install, but you do have to use screws and brackets to hold in place. It’s made very well as far as the construction of the metal and the material used. It does exactly what I need to do block the sun and keep my bathroom at a normal temperature. Maybe if you put some Styrofoam or padding on the ends of the box it’s in it would help keep it from getting damaged.

I would say this is in the medium-quality range. Very easy installation. They do block light. There is no valance, so you will have to put these under a curtain or a valance. They do not look nice enough to use alone. The shade functions okay, but not as well as others I have used. I like the clear acrylic handle for the pull-down, but the bar it is attached to looks low quality. As far as the "Striped Pattern" in the description, I would call that stretch. It is more like a vertical textured pattern. Definitely not stripes! I have the white.

I had originally chose this shade because it looked a lot like one that I'm very happy with that I ordered eight months ago. After comparing them and the product photos, I'm pretty sure they are the same, which is great because it works well. I ordered the 62" X 72" in white. It looks and feels like a high quality shade. It's not flimsy light, but not so heavy that handling it is difficult. Installation is quick and easy and it works great. With just a little handle in the center (which you don't have to use), it pulls down and goes up smoothly with no effort. There are no cords hanging down and the overall look is more discrete than blinds in my opinion. It's hard to believe that the thin material blocks out light, but it does. As for value, comparing prices these seem to run within about $5 of each other. It works great so I feel like it's a fair value.

I’ve struggled to find a shade for my kitchen window, which has only a 2 5/8" depth, and even less once you factor in the window handle that protrudes into the space. This shade has a very slim profile and fits perfectly. I ordered the 57" width, and the shade measures exactly as described. Installation was straightforward and only required two brackets. I didn’t need to adjust the tension, as the blind worked smoothly straight out of the box, though the option to fine tune is there if needed. I was slightly hesitant about choosing white for a shade positioned directly behind my sink, but the fabric seems like it would wipe clean easily if anything splashes onto it. It also unclips from the brackets easily, so if more thorough cleaning is needed, that shouldn’t be a problem. I can’t comment on its blackout abilities because my kitchen has multiple uncovered windows and a skylight, but I installed it mainly for privacy and it serves that purpose well. At the current coupon price of $56.24, I think it’s good value and I would consider buying more for other windows. As another reviewer mentioned, it doesn’t include a valance. I don't mind it without, but would pair it with a simple wood valance if needed.
