For outside mount, shade should be 4 - 6 wider than window frame, shade length should be at least 2 longer than the window length for better coverage.

This shade is pretty good, the chain raises and lowers the roll really fast, the length you pull the chain is the same amount that the roller raises or lowers, its fantastic. its easy to pull the chain, the shade looks great after it has a few days to loos the bottom wrinkles. The hard part was getting the brackets to be the right distance apart. then once you have the brackets in place you have to squeeze the roll in between them and get the pins in the wholes and you're on a stool or latter. I found this type of mounting a lot more difficult than the simple push and lock brackets on other blinds. It lets a lot of light in on the edges and the top.

I got this blackout blind in a beige color. It was easy to assemble and mount on the wall by following the directions. The blind itself is made of thick material that effectively blocks out the light. It is a little reminiscent of a hospital blind by how it looks, but I just ended up putting a curtain up overtop of it. It opens and closes nicely with the chain. I’m so glad to have a solid blind like this because I feel like the other basic blinds don’t do nearly enough to block the light or provide privacy. It’s also way easier to clean by just wiping it down compared to a traditional blind and it doesn’t collect dust like a traditional blind tends to. I’m definitely going to start switching all of my blinds over to this type now.

These are great. Super easy to install. Sizing was correct. The beautiful print. Material could be a little heavier. Still getting light leaking when installed outside of winder frame. This is even following the extra 2” on each side. These are so much better than the vertical line blinds. I would recommend.

Easy to Install.Lightgrey,40" W x 72" H This does a great job of blocking light. There is some light leakage on the edges but that is to be expected with any blind. They are attractive and easy to wipe clean. It installed relatively easily, but the instructions are terrible. The instructions basically say assemble it and put it up. At one point it states to measure the distance from one end of the blind to the other with the end caps in place, but they don’t tell you how to use that measurement. I have already installed similar blinds so had little trouble with these. The mounting brackets have two long holes and a round center hole. Just use the outside long holes which will give you a little adjustment leeway if you end up with them too tight or too loose. I will say don’t fully snap the spring pin end into place until you have made all adjustments. I am not sure exactly how to pull the shade out once it is firmly in place (probably a skinny flat head screwdriver poked around the spring pin). The chain mechanism that you use to lift and lower the blinds is fussy and difficult to roll. It doesn’t roll smoothly. When you install it, place the bracket that the chain runs through at the lowest (under tension) spot that you can and then raise it a /quarter inch otherwise the chain might not pull/rotate. It does work. It just doesn’t work as well as other blinds I’ve installed and used. I’ve waited a while before posting this review. After using this for a week, it is rotating more easily though still a little rough.

I ordered this black out blind to replace an older set of wooden blinds. Although the wooden blinds were attractive, they were not that good at blocking light. The new roller blind was simple to install; brackets, screws, wall anchors and a wall clip for the pull chain were all included along with easy to follow instructions. It was a pretty quick window treatment do-over and the grey linen look matched my walls and curtains. Light, thermal and noise blocking all in one at an affordable price. I would recommend this brand if you are thinking about purchasing a quality roller blind. It works well for me.

This is a great curtain for the bedroom, easy to install and fully blackout. Its well made of good and sturdy fabric quality and aluminum rod. It looks very nice and I like how to open/close by balls chain not like my manual old curtain.
