I bought this for my son for Christmas. In one day he mastered it and absolutely loves it. CAUTION!! DO NOT let your children ride this in circles. They can get going and have difficulty stopping and my co workers grandson litwrally broke his arm as a result of exactly that. My son is 10 then and an excellent listener so when I told him not to do that and why, he has not. Also, if you let your child ride this on the street, I STRONGLY recomnend they wear elbow, knee pads and a helmet. It can fo up to 6 mph and thats the speec of a light jog. Power walking is 4.5 mph so it can get pretty fast. It takes 3 hours to charge for 1 hour of ride time so make sure to charge before presenting as a gift to inpatient children and that they stay close by to home so they dont get stranded somewhere carrying this heavy thing back home. It comes with a back pack carrier but that doesnt make it easier to carry. Lastly, it is blue tooth capable but Im afraid my kud would break whatever device he is carrying around to listen to music so we dont use that feature. Used responible, its a fun, safe and enjoyable product. It can hold up to 200lbs so mom and dad can give it a whirl as well. ... show more

We bought this for my son for his 12th birthday. It works good. I’m not a fan of the Bluetooth message every time you turn it on. The only bad part I can say is that we have to reset/recalibrate it ALOT!

I really wanted to like this hoverboard. It seems solid, looks good, the bluetooth speakers sounds decent, and the price wasn't bad.... but after having gone through 3 of them, I had to stop. GREAT customer support from the seller in every case, but I couldn't justify the number of returns I had to make. The first time the right side just stopped working, that was after only about 3 weeks. The second time there was a nasty gear grinding sound coming from the left side. And the final time, the thing would just come to a halt...rider would be going along at full speed and it would just flat out stop throwing the rider to the ground. Doing a calibration seemed to fix it, but the fix would only be temporary. After about the 5th time, my son just got to the point that he was afraid to ride it. Called customer support and they gave me a pre-paid shipping lablel to return for refund. ... show more

I purchased 3 hoverboards back in 11/22/2018. One of the hoverboards is malfunctioning and we are unable to fix it. I'm unable to reach either the seller "CHO Power Sports" or the manufacturer. Please help. This item is still under the original purchase warranty period.

will not charge birthday gift that worked for 2 minutes now it wont charge and i gotta send it back bunch of nonsense i just wanted to give the kid a working hoverboard should of believed the reviews i guess complete junk pile of junkkkkkkkkkk DO NOT BUY seller doesnt respond then you gotta contact amazon and go find a ups store and blah blah blah not to mention its a lithium battery product so hope ups doesnt catch you trying to send that back and you better hope its in time amazon will help you cause the seller sure wont ... show more

I am impressed with the quality of this hoverboard. Bought for my 9 year old nephew and he LOVES it. Waited to post a review since it was a birthday gift. It rides smooth and it charges quick. The lights on the hoverboard are so pretty! He loves the Bluetooth on this, now he goes to the park listening to his favorite music.     • Hoverboard Shuts completely off at top speed!

Updating my review as we have had this hover board for a couple months. The first one we ordered did not work so we returned it. Received the second one quickly and was pleased with it. It turned on and seemed to function properly. However, the reason for my 2 star review is this. When you ride this outside and get close to top speed, the board shuts off completely. My 16 yr old crashed and banged himself up from it, my 14 yr old fell off twice, and i had too see what all the fuss was. After i tried it, got to top speed, the machine shuts off and locks up. Needless to say I went tumbling and have a few scrapes from it. Would be nice if the seller would contact me to get this item either replaced or refunded because this is dangerous. Not sure if it happens with all their models but I would be leary if it does. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I ordered two of these actually and this one came today. I will be returning it. Due to some of the reviews I saw I decided to charge and try it before gifting to the young ones for Christmas. So my son is in the video riding it then gets off and you can see it still goes in a circle and yes it went in a circle as he was trying to get on. Additionally, there is a popping noise made on one side when he was riding it. When the second one arrives I will test it too to see if it performs the same way.
