This monitor had so much potential because of having the monitor and WiFi access. I thought everything was just a little eh though. My favorite feature was that you can turn off the Wi-Fi so if you worry about someone hacking it you have the option to turn off the Wi-Fi when you just want to use the monitor. One thing I hated was YOU CANNOT USE THE MONITOR AND HAVE SOMEONE ELSE USE THE APP. This drove me crazy. The monitor would freeze when you opened the app. Normally, yeah no big deal, but if my husband is at work and wants to peak on our sleeping cute baby, he can't without the monitor freezing on me. The two way talk is no good. You have to hold the button for like 3 seconds then speak or else it won't work. I just wasn't a fan. The picture quality was good though and it's great value for your money. I just wanted something a little more. The set up was very simple as well for it. I returned it after trying it for one nap so not sure how the battery life is.

The media could not be loaded. I am so happy that I can use it to monitor my chinchilla. You can use your phone and the parent unit it provided. Very space saving, good quality, does not look cheap. I put it next to the wall and it blend in. Very recommended!

I was looking for a baby monitor that had both a hand held unit and a wifi "on the go" option for when I'm outside just out of reach of the units distance. While the handheld is an upgrade from our previous Motorola, that's about all I can say that is good with this unit. I'm am not a ludite, and can setup a home network just fine, but this unit just sucks (or maybe I got a lemon?) Let's break it down. Wi-Fi Toggle. Great idea, poor execution. The functionality is something that should exist with all baby monitors that connect to Wi-Fi, but unfortunately for this unit, when you turn it off, then go to turn it back on, the app on your phone will take quite a long time to catch up (if it does). The loading wheel is a perpetual item for this unit, even with strong Wi-Fi signal. Wi-Fi Connection in App. It straight up didn't work for me no matter how many times I would disconnect and try to reconnect. It's a product that had a good idea, but in this case, it didn't even execute on it. This is the main reason I'm returning the product; the functionality promised wasn't delivered on, i.e., the ability to see the feed from my phone via Wi-Fi. The camera only works in Local Mode. ChillaxCare App. It's bad. Please, anyone reading this review, please know that there are pop ups on the video feed (again, if the video feed will even load) that you cannot get rid of. "did you know babies taste buds only recognize sweet and sour?" No, Chillax, I didn't, and quite frankly, gtfo the screen, i'm trying to see my child. It's so blatently in your face and it makes me wonder if all their Dev resources went into spamming ads into your face rather than making a reliable server connection to the video feed. 2-stars given because the parental unit is of good quality, but the other half of the functionality (Wi-Fi remote viewing) fails to work as described.

I like the camera and parent unit but the app requires you to pay for the upgraded version which is not specified in the product description. You can only view the camera on one phone unless you pay extra for the upgrade to have on multiple devices . So you have to reinstall the camera if different people are home and need to watch the baby! Very frustrating! This should have been described in the product info
