Description
Are CHICOLOGY Zebra Blinds blackout or light filtering? CHICOLOGY Zebra Blinds are light filtering, not blackout. The dual-layer sheer and solid fabric helps control natural light and privacy while keeping the room softly bright. How do zebra blinds work? Zebra blinds use alternating sheer and solid fabric bands. Raise or lower the shade to align the bands for more daylight, filtered light, or enhanced privacy. Can people see through zebra blinds from outside? When the solid bands are aligned, visibility from outside is greatly reduced. When the sheer bands are open, some visibility may be possible depending on lighting. Do zebra blinds provide privacy at night? Yes. When fully closed in privacy mode, the solid bands help block clear views into the room. A soft indoor glow may still show because the shade is light filtering. Are these zebra blinds safe for kids and pets? Yes. These zebra blinds have a cordless design with no dangling cords, making them a safer and cleaner-looking option for homes with children and pets. Are CHICOLOGY Zebra Blinds easy to install? Yes. Mounting hardware is included for inside or outside mount installation. Standard installation requires basic tools and drilling. Can these zebra blinds be installed without drilling? No. This model requires bracket installation with screws. It is not a no-drill or adhesive shade. Do zebra blinds run true to size? For inside mount, measure your window opening and order the exact width. The shade includes a factory width deduction for proper fit and smooth operation. What rooms are best for zebra blinds? Zebra blinds work best in living rooms, bedrooms, offices, dining rooms, and study spaces where adjustable natural light and privacy are needed. Why choose zebra blinds instead of traditional blinds? Zebra blinds offer the clean look of roller shades with more flexible light control. The sheer and solid bands adjust for daylight, privacy, and modern style. We believe window blinds and shades are more than just functional necessities. Every window tells a story, and our products are part of that narrative. With a focus on affordability, innovation, and ease of installation, we have revolutionized window treatments to suit the modern lifestyle. Effortlessly make your home a place as chic as you are.

Great product!
Size: 31"W x 72"H
Color: Basic Natural
Let me start with that: This is the second brand I ordered for our windows. The first product we tried was IKEA`s roller window blinds for the same size. We installed them inside the windows. We were ready to ignore the ugly looks of the visible rolling mechanism on top. However, they did not even stay in place when we pull them down. The plastic part that was supposed to hold the mechanism and the blind was too weak to function. Also, the wireless pull & release mechanism was tricky to use and was not reliable. These blinds seem to address all of the issues we faced. The installation was a breeze. I installed them inside the window and the installation brackets were strong enough to hold the blinds in place, even while you are pulling them down. (I used a longer screw since the provided ones were not suitable for my setup, I highly recommend using 2 inch+ construction screws for a strong hold when you mount them inside the windows) The top band was designed with the same fabric as the shade. It hides the mechanism and gives the blinds a sleek appearance. Nice touch! The mechanism is easy to use and intuitive. With a small force you can pull them down. The stay in place. It collapses itself to the original position with a small touch. So, basically the entire blind disappears on top of the window, if desired. Beware of the fact that the fabric is not a blackout one. It blocks the direct sunshine but allows the light to come in, which worked perfectly for us. When adjusted, the zebra functionality gives a higher level of light filtering and privacy. It is a little early to talk about its durability, but so far so good! Time will tell. Other than that, I highly recommend this product!

Very versatile
Size: 35"W x 72"H
Color: Basic Arctic
We ordered 12 of these blinds in 2 different sizes. 2 came damaged but we returned them and reordered and they came fine. Installation was very easy and fast according to my husband. We were aware of the small gaps on the sizes but we don't mind, they work well for our windows and still provide privacy. They let a lot of light in wich we love. We really like all the ways we can use them, totally closed or partial. I'm obsessed with the look and get lots of compliments on them. Some of them are hard to open half way because they mechanism makes them roll all the way up so it takes a little of extra effort to get them to stop where i want them too. Overall I'm very satisfied. We have only had them for a couple of months so i can't speak on their durability. But they look amazing. Price was fair as well. I do recommend these blinds of you're tired of the look of faux wood ones. I do like that these included the valance, make them look more elegant than roller blinds for similar price

Disappointed
Size: 41"W x 72"H
Color: Basic Slate
Finally decided to install these blinds after 2 years of having them. Sadly, upon opening the box, they were bent. Obviously after 2 years I cant return them. I was able to straighten the kink, installed the brackets, hung the blinds. They look great...until you take a closer look. One side is thin and one side is thicker making the headrail look lopsided. They are also 2 inches shorter than what I ordered so there's trim at the top that sticks out. Also, the plastic handle is impossible to clip on. "Push on the top until you hear a click sound." The only clicking I heard were my phalanges nearly breaking in half. Overall disappointed and now have to do something creative to camouflage the flaws. And maybe call the hulk to see if he can install the clip handle.

RECOMMEND but read my review - took 1 Star off
Size: 26"W x 71"H
Color: Basic Natural
I’m a 60 yr old woman and I installed 9 blinds in 45 min! I’m only giving 4 stars - here’s why 1. Seller limited number of blinds I could purchase! I literally needed NINE for this room!! So I had to have my daughter order 3 of the nine - ridiculous! 2. One of the blinds won’t stay in place in one position (if you have the shade striped to see out on some of the slats) it creeps and becomes solid - so I had to order a replacement and I have to take it to UPS to return it 3. If you look closely at the photo w 2 small windows on either side of a large window - the blinds are not consistent at the bottom (one has a full solid and the other has only half) this doesn’t bother the heck out of me - they are not expensive so I’ll deal with that but I thought I should point it out Overall - super easy to install once you figure it out! I had to YouTube it to get a visual because the instructions are not as easy - wish Seller would have put a QR Code to an installation video They look great and they’re easy to raise and lower so I’m happy with the results! This is the natural color - it has little flecks

You get what you pay for
Size: 72"W x 71"H
Color: Basic Arctic
These are some of the cheapest zebra shades on the market. As a result you get what you pay for. 1. Easy to install, but no tension adjustment. So when I installed these, they wouldn't stay down. Had to disassemble the spring mechanism and set my own tension. Maybe include that in the instructions? 2. They look good when fully extended on dark mode. However, the spring mechanism is on the right side and takes away from the coverage. In my case there is a wide opening (obviously not an issue for outside mounting). Also, when partially pulled down the shaded stripes don't line up very well. Spent 45 min trying to adjust it but no luck. They line up well when full extended. 3. Quality - you get what you pay for. Feels cheap when you use them, but with blinds you just set them and leave them. More trouble to return than to keep, so I'm keeping them. They look good enough for the price I was willing to spend.
