Even though Tilly hats are more expensive than other options, I keep buying them. They last forever and look good. I lost my first hat overboard sailing to Hawaii, and needed a replacement. Great sun protection, comfortable, and worth it.

I bought this hat to wear when I play gold. It looks great, keeps my face and ears from getting sunburn, and shades my eyes. I liked this hat so much that I had to buy a second hat in a different color. I wanted to buy the Tilley brand because they have a lifetime guarantee, and the one I have had for around 25 years, and washed uncountable times, still looks as good as the day I bought it. I find it surprisingly comfortable and airy. Size was correct and although a tad on the expensive side, it does shade my ears and neck very well. Not a fan of the chin straps but they are easily removed. It's a good hat for a fisherman to keep him out of the dermatologist office!

This is my 2nd Tilley hat. The quality is superb! The first Tilley I purchased is at least 10 years old and is as good as new. I have a very small head and other brands just don't fit. I am not a "hat person" so finding one that fits and looks good is difficult. The size 6 7/8 is perfect! I also like to wrap a small scarf around it to add a little color. Perfect for sailing and hiking and just plain being outdoors in the sun!

This is my 5th Tilley. I’ve worn them for travels all over the world, for yardwork, golf and fishing. I bought this one for an overseas trip where rain chances were high on several days. I sprayed it generously with Scotchguard to improve its water repellent qualities. On sunny days it protected my face and neck from the sun. On rainy days I did not have to worry about getting water on my hearing aids. This hat will last a long time unless you lose it, give it away or drop it on your mower manifold 😬
