We ordered 12 of these blinds in 2 different sizes. 2 came damaged but we returned them and reordered and they came fine. Installation was very easy and fast according to my husband. We were aware of the small gaps on the sizes but we don't mind, they work well for our windows and still provide privacy. They let a lot of light in wich we love. We really like all the ways we can use them, totally closed or partial. I'm obsessed with the look and get lots of compliments on them. Some of them are hard to open half way because they mechanism makes them roll all the way up so it takes a little of extra effort to get them to stop where i want them too. Overall I'm very satisfied. We have only had them for a couple of months so i can't speak on their durability. But they look amazing. Price was fair as well. I do recommend these blinds of you're tired of the look of faux wood ones. I do like that these included the valance, make them look more elegant than roller blinds for similar price ... show more

I moved into a house and all the blinds needed to be updated. I originally wanted Roman shades or a woven bamboo shade but I hated the way they looked from the outside (the mechanism and strings showing) I went to Home depot and decided on zebra blinds however they started at $220 a blind- and I had a whole house to buy for. I turned to trusty Amazon and found these- read all the reviews and took a chance on them. First of all- I love the look. I got the linen color and I get compliments on them all the time and people are amazed by them. Going in I knew from other reviews that 1. The sides are about an inch shorter on both sides of the actual blind than the top rod and 2. They are light filtering- so if you are wanting privacy- I wouldn’t recommend these or make sure you have curtains as well. People on the reviews raved about the quality but I find them quite cheap- they are lightweight and the fabric is really thin. The zebra blinds on display at Home Depot are very good quality and thick (and also start at $220) the very first time I rolled the shade up one of the threads got stuck and it shredded the end of the material ON THE FIRST ROLL. I was so disappointed. Also the top- no matter how hard my husband tightened or I tightened- it was crooked. Overall, I do like the look and it completes the look I was going for. And you get what you pay for. If you are going to be using these everyday, open and closing them such as in a living room, I wouldn’t recommend, they work good in our bedroom since we don’t open and shut the blinds everyday ... show more

The first one arrived looked a little bit used. The blind would automatically roll up on its own and stop where it wanted to rather than where I wantes it to. Got a replacement that was shoved into the box, wrapped in paper with the blind wadded up and crinkled beyond any possible use.

These are some of the cheapest zebra shades on the market. As a result you get what you pay for. 1. Easy to install, but no tension adjustment. So when I installed these, they wouldn't stay down. Had to disassemble the spring mechanism and set my own tension. Maybe include that in the instructions? 2. They look good when fully extended on dark mode. However, the spring mechanism is on the right side and takes away from the coverage. In my case there is a wide opening (obviously not an issue for outside mounting). Also, when partially pulled down the shaded stripes don't line up very well. Spent 45 min trying to adjust it but no luck. They line up well when full extended. 3. Quality - you get what you pay for. Feels cheap when you use them, but with blinds you just set them and leave them. More trouble to return than to keep, so I'm keeping them. They look good enough for the price I was willing to spend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am a big fan of zebra blinds! I think they add beauty to your house inside and out. I think the quality of this particular blind is really good. The ease of rolling up and down is exactly what’s needed. I light my home light and bright. If you like room darkening just put some curtains over these for a stunning effect.
