I love this shade and found it very easy to install- needed to drill 2 holes and screw in 2 screws to inside window trim- thats it! The cordless mechanism makes it easy to open and close by pulling down or pushing up. I have this shade in a closet window. It is the perfect sheerness- allows enough light to keep my closet bright but gives complete privacy for changing. These are very pretty and easy to use. They have plastic tabs at the bottom that I like to prevent stains when touching to raise and lower. No cords, just pick up or pull down to open/close.

while the product is what it states, it is quite cheesy looking, sheer and light filtering yes, but the material is of the quality that I'd prefer not be in my kitchen. I had a very nice thicker, more canvas like roman shade, the mechanism broke. trying to replace it has been quite the ordeal. no one makes decent quality anything anymore. i'm willing to pay for the right product.
