I have these in Pine in 3 sizes. Two over a large window in a guest room (rarely used), one over a window in main room and over a back French door (these two are used every day). These were exactly what I was looking for: the perfect color, good price, so easy to pull up/down, lightweight, good for direct sun blocking, and the install was fairly easy compared to another brand in the master. Unlike the other brand (which is a little clunky looking and hard to pull down and very hard to install), these are not privacy blinds. You can basically see right in at night, but not out lol. Initially these are shorter than listed but for the most part they relax out (guest room ones have not, I assume because they never get used). And mostly they go up/down evenly. My biggest con with these though - I’ve had to replace the one over the door twice for the same reason: the elastic cord pulling one side up/down has frayed and snapped. I don’t understand what’s happening aside from possible friction against the poor design choice of a metal ring that it feeds through. This one is used the same amount as the window one with the only notable difference being that the door is opened/closed rather than a stationary window. Also the last replacement had holes in the wood slats (maybe from small knots falling out?). Overall I recommend but not for a crazy high price. ... show more

I wanted something that let in light but looked nice and these fit the bill. I didn't want to use curtains but wanted something that I could close when I needed privacy. We priced these elsewhere and they were outrageous. These are priced just right. My husband said these were easy to install.

I bought several of these blinds months ago. I liked the look, and even though they are sheer (I bought this plastic screen for my windows to make sure no one can see in) one of them has started shedding. I didn’t know where it was coming from at first, but it’s the blinds! It looks like wood pulp peeling off. I don’t know why. My other ones don’t have this problem. It looks bad and creates a mess that gets on the floor. I’ve contacted the company to see if anything can be done but I doubt it. I bought these 6 months ago now but feels like a waste of money. So just a heads up that apparently this can happen. (And it’s not sunlight, I have two in the kitchen that get a lot of sun and those are fine. So who knows) ——- *update: I contacted the company and submitted photos along with the order (I ordered three of these blinds) and they are going to send me a replacement for free. I’m so happy they are going to send me a replacement. I have in total 4 of these blinds (bf bought me the other one) and I’m not sure why 1 is peeling like that. And I wasn’t sure what to do since I like the look of them. So if you have any issues you can always contact the company. What amazing. Customer service and it was really easy to deal with. I didn’t even ask for a replacement I was just wondering what I could do and they sent it right away. ... show more
