After adopting a pair of kittens I realized you can have cats or you can have cheap mini blinds but you can't have both. After Frick & Frack started to destroy every blind I had in the house, I looked for something more sturdy. These definitely fit the bill. I initially wanted to hang them inside mount but my window sashes were too narrow. After hanging one on the exterior I actually like the look better! There were very easy to install, took about 10 minutes to get up a set. I always find the valances to be tacky and flimsy but these ones are clean looking and firmly mounted. We love these. They look nice and feel durable. We have a small dog who but threw our old blinds so we got the faux wood this time. It’s easy to lift up or down. We haven’t had an issue with our dog biting the blinds any longer he simply lifts it with his nose and can see.
