Features
- ROOM DARKENING WITH R-3 INSULATION -- BLOCKS UP TO 90% OF LIGHT: The 9/16-inch single-cell honeycomb construction creates an R-3 insulating barrier between your window and room -- keeping rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Room darkening fabric reduces incoming light by up to 90% for a dimmed, restful environment in bedrooms, nurseries, home offices, and any room where light control matters.
- CORDLESS & SCREW-MOUNT SECURE -- SAFER THAN NO-DRILL ALTERNATIVES: No pull cords means zero strangulation risk for children and pets. Cordless operation meets WCMA/CPSC child safety standards. Brackets screw directly into your window frame or wall for a permanent, secure hold -- far more reliable than adhesive no-drill options that can fall. Safe to install. Safe to live with.
- SAVE THOUSANDS COMPARED TO CUSTOM WINDOW TREATMENTS: Custom blinds average 150 to 400 dollars per window. CHICOLOGY cellular shades deliver the same professional fit at a fraction of that cost. Customers report saving over 2,100 dollars on a single home. Each shade is factory precision-trimmed to your exact ordered width -- order your size and it arrives ready to install. No deductions. No cutting required.
- INSTALLS IN 10 MINUTES -- COMPLETE HARDWARE KIT INCLUDED: Screw the metal mounting brackets into your window frame or wall, then snap the shade into the brackets -- done. Everything you need is included. Works for inside mount (1.5 inch minimum depth) or outside mount. Suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, sliding doors, and RV windows. Most customers complete installation in under 10 minutes.
- ROOM DARKENING OR LIGHT FILTERING | WATER RESISTANT | MULTIPLE COLORS: Choose room darkening for up to 90% light reduction in bedrooms, nurseries, and home offices. Choose light filtering for soft, diffused natural light in living rooms and sunrooms. Water resistant fabric is suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. Available in multiple colors in precise 1/4-inch size increments. Contractors: contact us for bulk pricing.

Easy to install, fit as expected, and looks good. Will see how it holds up but quality seems good.

Great value. Great product quality. Easy installation. Perfect cordless blind for my bathroom window. Light filtering as I did not want blackout for the bathroom. Clean bright white great addition for privacy to the window.

These are very similar to the Levalor blinds I had purchased from Home Depot back in 2015. They were easy to install and look really nice. I purchased the “Morning Ocean” color and it is a very pretty dark blue. They are light yet seem durable, the size I purchased was 24” x 64” and fit perfectly. No parts or hardware were missing in any of the four boxes, which was great. I would definitely buy these again.

Color: Morning Croissant (Light Filtering)
Size: 28"W x 48"H
Overall product is great. Would have been 5 star if prices hadn't shot up since the pandemic, and all the stories about difficult installation due to unclear instructions are unfortunately true. My tips: 3x check that the (subtly!) Grooved surface on the top "mechanical guts" holding housing is facing you & the inside of the room and snap at least one bracket onto the shades before you screw anything in. Hold it up to the window frame to make sure its not in backwards. For outside mount, this will be "wide flat metal lip on top, flexible tab piece on the bottom". Pros: * Build quality is good, especially for the metal and fabric parts. Plastic looks "cheap" when you take everything out of the box, but it feels durable and looks good for something that's not a crazy expensive major brand. * Diffuse light is great, making the room look brighter overall, but there's also no blinding light peaking through right into my face like I was getting with my old miniblinds. * Easy to install once you've done it a couple times. * Summer and winter insulation is legit based on these and one other "cellular style" shade we've had in the bathroom for years (not sure what brand). We noticed a consistent 20-30% reduction in temp variation. You can no longer sense a temp difference in July/August or Ja/Feb in New Hampshire unless you're paying attention/"fault finding", to give a subjective performance report. Haven't tested scientifically except to say that we've been finding ways to reduce energy use and its working based on the 13 Month rolling KwH reports we get on our monthly utility bills.. I installed these new ones recently in an above garage office thats "theoretically" well insulated but actually roasts in summer and freezes in winter in part due to skylights. I need to address the skylights for a "total solution" but summer heat has been reduced quite a bit just be doing the normal windows. Too soon to know yet, but I expect to see heating/cooling costs go down 5 to 10% based on previous experience which aligns with most industry claims. Performance should be similar if not better to that bathroom since we're now shading and insulating a room with 4 windows that are full sun most of the year, and the room is often unused. A 20% to 30% improvement here would be a substantial dollars and cents savings, allowing us to run heat/cooling fewer days/year, and with fewer BTUs when we do. Cons: * Diagram in the directions needs to make bracket orientation much more clear, at least for outside mount, which I did. Getting it backwards is not only wasted time, but you also scratch the plastic (not may, but WILL in my experience). I was able to mostly hide scratches by wearing the worst of it off with a fingernail but you shouldn't need to do that at $68 a unit!. * You have less lightb and privacy control vs mini blinds, which is a drag considering i live on a busy street. Privacy is technically better when shades are all the way down, but you can't just open them part way to let more light in while keeping them mostly closed like with miniblinds. However, school drapes have the same limitation, and to me the insulation and improved lighting overall outweigh the performance hit you take in this one narrow area that's truly a "1st world problem". * Price and availability. Both weren't great compared to the pre covid status quo, based on the reviews prior to Mar 2020. That said, my items arrived early, so the seller and/or Amazon has been good about under promising and over delivering. I've made 2 separate purchases of this product over the last 1.5 mos. Both times they said "4-6 weeks" but they came in 10-14 days. Order well in advance just to be safe, but you may be pleasantly surprised and I'm sure speedy shipping will return in the coming months, God willing. Not so much a review but question... The temp insulation claims are accurate but have any other customers seen the claimed noise reduction benefits? I'm assuming its something of a gimmick, but I haven't had them installed on the noisy road side of my house to know.

After seeing a few reviews that called out how difficult the installation was, I was prepared to have to work a little harder to figure these out. I told my son who was with me when I opened the box that there were reviews saying these blinds were confusing to install. 10 minutes later, we had all three blinds installed (I do a lot of DIY around the house and I had 2 different cordless drivers, one with a drill bit to drill the guide holes for the screws and another loaded with a screw driver bit.) But still, about 10 minutes after we opened the boxes, we had all 3 blinds installed and were wondering how in the world anyone could be confused about how to install these. My son said that maybe those people had never installed any other blinds in their lives. I guess anything can be confusing the first time you do it but these were easy. And, my wife and I both love them. We used them on west facing windows that shine into our bedroom. In the Summer time, the sun sets late and shines directly at our faces when we are lying in bed. These blinds made a world of difference. And bonus, here we are months later and they also cut down on the cold air that was bouncing off the windows in the Winter time. So they are good for reducing the light and heat in the Summer and reducing the cold air in the Winter. The lifting and lowering action is perfect for letting light into the room when we wake up in the morning. All around good purchase for us.

We have similar cellular blinds throughout our house, but somehow forget to get a matching one for our door. I tried a few different from amazon and couldn't find a decent one, but this one is pretty close to our others! Easy installation, pretty sturdy/good quality and thankfully it was pretty room darkening (that we needed) since our back door usually extremely bright.

These blinds are a good value for the price. Easy to put up and they fit perfectly. Be careful to use precise window measurements when ordering. The handles are a little odd, but work fine. Personally, I prefer the contoured ones that came with my Bali blinds.

I've installed many of my own cellular blinds, so this one was easy. The fabric seems a wee bit thinner than my others, but it does the job. The measurement was accurate and compression to other prices, I am pleased with my purchase. If we were feeling a bit more financially secure, I may have considered a more expensive one, but honestly this one is worth it. All the parts were there. Colour is fine. Took approx 20 minutes to read insteuctions, measure, drill, and mount. One teensy dislike - the small handle with which to raise and lower the blind, mounts sideways to the side edge of the blind. This means is comes off too easily. All my other blinds have a.clip on handle that clips to the underneath of the blind, making it easier to lower and raise. I've only had it up for 3 days so cannot attest to durability.
