Bought this ribbon for a wedding with the intention of writing on it. It's width is perfect. I tried various marking pens. The permanent markers ran, but the regular ball point pens were perfect. I sprayed material sticky spray on a small board and it gave me enough adhesion to write on without slipping. It's made very well and doesn't ravel. ... show more

You get a good amount of ribbon with this purchase. I used it for 27 pages of a soft book. I still had plenty of it left. I also needed to sew this ribbon to felt and it held up very well. There was no shredding or threads popping out. I'm very happy with my purchase.
