The blinds are wonderful, easy to raise and lower. A MAJOR PAIN TO INSTALL. Very difficult to get blinds into holder once installed. Once you get it done they are great. Just be prepared to struggle with instructions for installation and installing the blind on the hooks. Took me 3 hours, I may not be as handy as a handyman, but at the same time I am fully capable for installing things and have all the proper tools. ... show more

I had these blinds in my bedroom for a little over 30 days when my Labrador wagged his tail against them and broke three of the slats. I had vinyl blinds in my previous house because they don't bend like metal blinds but I've never had them break like this. I am assuming it is because they are thinner and less flexible than my previous vinyl blinds. Blinds are okay I guess if you don't have pets or small kids that could damage them. (PS - still waiting for pickup of the damaged replacement blinds that I ordered. Been sitting on my front porch since Nov 4. Since the replacements broke in transit I will not be using this brand of blinds again as they obviously are not very sturdy) ... show more

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. My only issue is I haven't bought blinds in a decade, and just now learning that the old string is a thing of the past. I would prefer the option of with or without a cord.

Exactly how it is written is how it fits. I was initially confused with the way it is installed but this new design is actually better than the old way. The blinds work great up and down without having to pull a string.
