Safety and ease of use are built in: the cordless lift system is Certified Best for Kids, eliminating dangling cords while offering simple, intuitive control. Tilt the wand to adjust slats from light-filtering to room-darkening positions — giving you control over glare, privacy, and natural light throughout the day. While these blinds offer significant light reduction, they are designed for room darkening, not full blackout, so slim light lines between slats are normal. The durable composite PVC slats resist warping, cracking, and fading in everyday conditions, and cleaning is as easy as wiping with a damp cloth. With moisture resistance and easy maintenance, they are an excellent choice for kitchens, bathrooms (with ventilation), rental units, offices, and high- traffic households. Installing is straightforward with included metal side- brackets and valance. For inside mounts, a minimum window depth of ~3" is required. Item arrived in great condition and early, was scheduled to arrive Monday but delivered Saturday afternoon. The blinds are good quality and seem very sturdy. For reference I ordered the 69.75" width blinds to go inside my window frame that has a width of 69.625". Because of the 0.5" factory reduction in the advertised length, that they clearly state, the blinds fit perfectly inside the window frame with minimal gap. The 2 inch blades are so much nice than the old flimsy, shorter and curved designs. All mounting hardware needed was included, even some options like a piece that can be installed and used to hold the blinds in position. They definitely block most of the light when closed. Installation was straight forward and very easy with a drill and an impact driver for the screws. I was able to install these nearly 6 ft long blinds by myself with ease. I will update this review if there is any unreasonable early failures, otherwise I am extremely happy with this purchase. ... show more

These blinds came from Amazon packaged in original manufacturers packaging. The packaging was very sturdy and survived shipping in perfect shape. I bought 16x48 inch blinds. The blinds were easy to install with a power drill, a 1/8th drill bit and a Philips head attachment for the screws. The blinds coordinated very well with the Levour brand faux wood blinds already installed on other windows in the room. I recommend these blinds to others. ... show more

I'm not sure why it took me so long to buy these blinds. Everything I needed was included right in the box, and the installer only needed about 15 minutes to put them up. He even wanted to surprise me by shortening the blinds, but since the instructions don’t mention anything about trimming them, it ended up taking him over two hours to put everything back together. During the day, I close the blinds to block out 100 percent of the sunlight, which helps keep my foyer cooler. They're easy to raise and lower—just a matter of pushing up or pulling down with your hands. I usually keep them lowered and only open them to a horizontal position to let in some light when the sun isn’t directly shining on my home. I really like the two-inch slats. They give the blinds a more refined look. They’re lightweight and look almost as stylish as my custom-made ones. I initially worried that my door’s charm might be compromised because the blinds could block the view of the elegant beveled glass panes. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. I simply open the blinds during the day so the glass can be seen as it was meant. At night, when I close the blinds, it prevents that uneasy feeling of being watched through the panes. Plus, the blinds look adorable when closed, making this a truly worthwhile investment. ... show more

It was the correct size. It went up in 15 minutes. It blocks about 90% of the light when closed, allows about 90% of light when open. Sturdy, Stable, Easy to wipe down, needed a small drill bit to start the screws for the mounting hardware, but a stronger person could do without.
