I got the small one and there’s still so much room in it and lots of pockets. For size reference I could fit 4 cans of soda standing up right in the main large pocket lol. The packaging does come in a vacuum sealed plastic but does NOT have the weird smell most bags do. So, I should start by saying I tried 7 other bags before this one. I wanted a nylon crossbody that was big enough to carry my basic things plus a book on occasion. I wanted lightweight, durable, and not hideous. There are a lot of hideous bags out there! Lots of bag that on paper seem the right size, but once you get them, they are really too small, too tall, a gross feel, or awkward shaped. Ones with uncomfortable straps and poor zippers. I should have tried this one first. I love Bagsmart. I have 3 other Bagsmart purses and a travel bag from them. I was actually replacing a Bagsmart crossbody because I wanted something a little different and for it to have side pockets. I will say, in pics, I thought this one was going to be shaped weird and overly stiff. I actually ordered and cancelled once before reordering and deciding to just give it a shot. I'm glad I did. It's cute and functional. I didn't lose any space on size. Very lightweight. Has side pockets. And, it matches what I was looking for in a bag. I can tell the side pockets expand some of I wanted, but I plan to store mace and sanitizer in there so no need. I would definitely buy again. I got the large back one. It's not massive though! This bag is great. It’s large enough to hold a woman’s full-size wallet and many other things and the water bottle holders on both ends are very helpful to have. You can use this as an over the shoulder purse or a Crossbody bag. It’s very lightweight. I just used it in Las Vegas and I was able to fit everything I needed. For the price this is a must have. Love this bag! I was looking for something with large capacity but not too big like a huge tote, could be worn as a crossbody, had enough pockets and side pockets and was wide enough. This bag checks most of those things. The only things that kept this bag from being 100 percent perfect was that it only has a crossbody strap, it doesn't have the 2 handles for you to wear as a regular bag on your shoulder if you wanted. Also, it could be an inch or 2 wider on the bottom. it could also use one more outside pocket on the back where the luggage strap is. Other than those things, it's perfect. You can fit a good amount in it, it has 2 side pockets on the outside for quick access to your phone and what not, it's not too big or bulky and the chocolate brown color is stunning. I ordered about 10 bags and this was the only one that worked for me and that I ended up keeping. Just got back from a 3 week trip to Europe. This bag was so lightweight and easy to carry. I absolutely love having a pocket on each end for a water bottle. I actually used one of those pockets for my little travel umbrella. I can say it is also waterproof after getting caught in the rain a few times. I used some small carabiners to keep my passport and credit card etc. secure inside. Pickpockets won’t even try it if they can see that you are securing your bag.
