Unknowingly this company has changed the design for the worse. I've ordered these many times in the past, they work perfectly. However they have now changed the 90⁰ piece. It no longer has threads just a compression fitting, which sucks!! Do not buy. To make it worse, the pictures shows it with threads!!

i used washers at every conection and they still leak, So do not use these cups indoors. the wing nuts are cheaply made plastic and will cut your fingers. I find it very hard to clean the cups. I attached 3 cups to a 2 gallon food grade bucket with a sealable lid as a test. Maybe they would work better with a straight sided container? I did like installing the cups 1 inch from the bottom and then placing it on a stand (bricks) to accomodate the height of the hens.

The way we have our system set up with these water cups it's easy for the chickens to use. Water just drips into the cups without the chickens having to use their beaks to get their water.

This is such a stupid simple product. I purchased a large outside trash can with lid from Wal-Mart. Then installed the 5-waters around the exterior (I saved 1 incase one of the first 5 failed, or gets damaged. "replacment on hand"). No leaking, 40-50 gallons of water for the chickens and wild birds too enjoy. I doubt the product will last forever, it one breaks off or leaks you could loose your supply of water. But if your checking on your animals daily and want them to have a clean drinking cup this one is wonderful.
