This incubator was easy to set up with the included instructions. There was a minor problem with the the IN and OUT of the water pump, as the directions were backwards, but it was obvious when there were bubbles going INTO the water that it was wrong, and simple to switch. A small hole in a 16oz disposable water bottle lid, thread the tubing into it, and that was nice and tidy. Temp was preset to 100.4F, good. Found that the humidity had to be set about 10 OVER what was desired to get it to stay at the proper level. Because of that, I found it smart to put a small Thermometer/Hydrometer inside too, as a control to confirm that the numbers were where they needed to be... at least for the first hatching. It was nearly always matching the digital read out of the incubator. Despite the directions to mist the eggs with water several times a day, I did NOT do that as that didn't make sense to me to mess up the humidity levels that were set. The alarm will sound when the temperature drops, including when you open the lid. Hitting the "Minus" button (-) will turn it off. 11 Fertile eggs in the incubator hatched 9 healthy chicks. 2 developed, but didn't hatch for some reason. Only had to refill the water bottle once. Unplugged the plug for the egg turner part at day 18 and moved the eggs directly onto the screen. Lot's of fun watching the chicks hatch out then! Clean up was easy with a brush, water, and some "Bio-Kleen". Wiped down the lid, but made sure not to wet the turning mechanism. First time using an incubator, and I consider it a total success! Oh, the light for "candling" the eggs worked okay, but not well with the darker shelled ones. Yes, I would recommend this Incubator!

I have not used this product yet. The egg holder shelves look rather flimsy and like they could easily break. The instructions clearly were not written by a native English speaker, but they seem clear enough. However, I will update this review after I actually try the product.

So glad I tried this for her eggs so far it seems to work well it's easy to use comes with instruction pack just follow the instructions in no time your eggs will be hatching it's a quiet running machine nice size not too large or too small like you can fit your average chicken eggs in it even if they vary in sizes and it is easy to clean up and maintain
