We hatched 4 beautiful silkies in this. Definitely did a great job at keeping humidity at the right levels. I had an incubator before this one that wouldn't hatch silkies well, because it wouldn't keep the humidity up enough.

The Styrofoam that came covering the incubator is supposed to be kept and used if the ambient temperature is below 65f but it messes with the humidity and makes it rise well above 70% even with the vent open. Finally, after several hours of fighting with the humidity I removed the Styrofoam and the humidity now remains steady at 50-52%, other than that this product seems pretty straight forward. So far it seems like it’s doing a fine job, turns as it should. Very low noise , I forget that it’s in another room until the tray rotates. Humidity control has been pretty easy and I’m glad the display is easy to see and read, well worth the purchase.
