I wanted to get the chicken feed up off the floor and thought these Apricock feeders would work well. I ran a 2x4 across the stud wall, low enough so the average sized standard chicken would be comfortable eating from it then used the included hardware to attach them to the 2x4. I currently use one for feed and one for grit. I bought 2 packages and I plan to attach at least one more for feed on that same 2x4. The larger birds LOVE this feeder! The only bad thing is they eat me out of house and home so to me….it seems like I’m always refilling it, but once these few dual purpose roos are off to freezer camp, it will alleviate that issue. I have a smaller girl who finds it difficult to eat unless she jumps up on the edge and digs in. The larger ones intimidate her so she just waits her turn, even though there is still a floor feeder available. I think she likes this one better for some reason, and that has nothing to do with the quality of the product. Pro: The product is perfectly fine and does it's job. It's a good size for my flock of chickens and it's great for my ducks who get bowls messy when on the ground. The one single con: I absolutely despise their decision to put a terrible sticker that doesn't peel off well on every single bin. I bought 4 total and this is a nightmare. If you don't care, then awesome! But there is literally no reason for these stickers to be there other than to put the consumer through a hassle lol... it could have been on the outer packaging or the bundle is wrapped in tape and could have been on the tape. Could also just be a card in the bundle or a piece of paper inside the package of screws/clips. There are so many possibilities that would be better for the consumer. It's just frustrating is all 😮💨 ... show more

These were perfect feeders for a feral dog that has to be penned outside. They were the perfect size. I used one for water and the other for kibble. Easy to attach to pen with the provided clips. Easy to clean. Great value for the price. Very sturdy.

Bought these to be portable for show goats. First day recieved the clips broke. These need to have heavier clips, was excited to recieve these, but the goats broke the clips on the first day. Had to use electric fence wire to wire them to the fence. So that's disappointing and obliviously less portable. Going to try to find new clips for them. Guess the goat got his feet in the bucket and his weight broke the clips at the joint. ... show more
