We got this because it is one of the only car seats that will fit in our tiny back seat. The seats are not very deep and the car seat has to go behind my tall husband, it’s very squishy. I put this on my baby registry and it just arrived today! Little sis isn’t here yet, but so far I like it WAY more than the graco I had with my son! I love the side buttons for the handle, I had a top button with the graco that would hardly ever work… the padding fells great, the base is super easy to instal (I love that the base also has a spot to hold the user manual), overall I haven’t found anything I don’t like about it yet! Straps are easy to put together, come undone, tighten, etc. overall looks way better then the photos make it seem! Way more satisfied with this than my previous infant I had! ... show more

We have used the Chicco KeyFit 30 for our last 2 kids and I will never use another infant seat! They fit babies so well. (Especially small babies). Great car seat, super easy to install, the base has a great “self-leveling” feature. Very secure base and very secure when the seat is clicked I . I have two very minor issues. The seat is not padded enough on the back and my small infant tended to slouch a little more than I like to see. The handle to release the car seat is in a slightly awkward position, above the child’s head. It’s not hard to undo, just awkward. But I would recommend it to anyone.
