    • Simple but thorough
I have been using this workbook with my ESL students for over a year. For the more advanced students we skim over some exercises, but for the beginners each page has a helpful exercise for improving their English skills. Highly recommended in conjunction with the lessons in the regular Student Book

I volunteer to teach ESL, initially I was scared to death. I knew I would be working with Spanish, Arabic, Loa, Thai, Chinese, and a number of African languages. This book and a couple of other side-by side books have helped organize me, give me concise lesson plans, challenge my students and help me to better help nonEnglish speaking adults learn my language. These books have a very systematic approach that works. We have a lot of adults who want to learn English, they get babysitters for their children so they can come and learn.
