We got these knives a few days ago and so far, we love them. 1) They have a nice weight but I would have liked them to be a couple grams heavier. This was the only thing I was worried about. I want a knife that has a little heft to them. 2) The one piece construction is a great feature so we don't have to worry about water in the hollow handles like some of the other reviews we've seen. 3) They feel great in the hand too and they're super sharp out of the box. 4) For the price, they come with every knife you really need for everyday cooking. So far these knives are working great! Nice and sharp and easy to use. I would definitely say hand wash then after use. I could see how they could rust easily in a dishwasher. They are vary clean and nice looking on my counter top. Its a good set if you do not want to spend a fortune on knives.

Bought these knives last year (June 2020), only because they matched our new kitchen. They are also sharp and my kids love them for cutting up fruit and vegetables. We love the versatility of the different types of knives and the kitchen shears. I do hand wash them most of the time because I feel that gets them cleaner and keeps them looking nice, but my kids sneak them in the dishwasher and we have had no problems. i do love these knives unfortunately my package came with only 14 of the 16 knives in the set and a piece of the knife block was broken. i’m unable to return as it was a gift. the knives are really great i just wish i had the 2 that were missing
