Chi makes excellent products and the Thermal Care Kit was no exception. If you have dry and/or coarse hair and use heat to style your hair you will love this kit! Unfortunately it did not work out for me because I have very temperamental and fickle hair that is easily over-moisturized. What I liked about the first time I used the shampoo, conditioner and silk infusion together was that my hair looked healthy, felt soft and had a beautiful shine. However, my hair felt kind of weak and fragile. By the second time I used the products I knew that these were not for me because after shampooing and conditioning my hair was weak, mushy and started to web together, a clear sign that it was over-moisturized. Since my hair is extremely thin, fine and fragile I have to have a good dose of a fairly strong protein in my products or else my hair will be thrown off balance. Most people will probably not experience what I did because I know it’s just the nature of how my hair responds to things, but I think I’m in the 1 percentile of the human population when it comes to this sort of thing. Again, these products are excellent quality and will make your hair soft, shiny, healthy looking and easy to detangle and will also protect it from heat. They also smell amazing! I love switching up and trying new hair products, and no matter what, I always come back to this trio set because I LOVE: 1) The scent 2) The way it makes my hair feel so smooth and thick! I love the smell, it smells like a fresh musk and its refreshing. The shampoo does not contain any harsh sulfates, so I love not having that squeaky feeling after you rinse out your shampoo (I usually shampoo twice). As for the conditioner, I get about a dollop size and spread that onto my ends and actually use it as a leave in -- then I use about a quarter size of the silk infusion and work that into my ends and up (barely ever touching my roots). I am surprised that my hair absorbs all of the product and does not look greasy at all! The best part is that using this method, my hair feels so hydrated, smooth and best of all, keeps the scent! This set is a real bang for your buck. The products are thick and you do not need much of it at all for your hair (I reccomend dollop size for all products for hair that is thick and past mid back length, and less for shorter, thinner hair). BONUS: If you really want to add some benefits to your shampoo AND boost the scent, I found adding a few drops of rosemary oil will make the fresh musk smell stronger and last longer. The rosemary also gives you a cooling tingly feeling on your scalp, and is believed to help promote hair growth. ... show more

I love this product! my hair is so soft and silky with or without blow drying! The only thing is that when it came two bottles were opened and leaked out in the packaging and the box for the items came in were opened and crinkled.
