    • Good for pet trimming
I got this table to use for trimming my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is a little jittery about being on a table that is less than stable and lower than I am. She has soft curly hair that needs trimming about once a month to keep it neat and free of mats. With this table, when I put her on it she is about eye level with me (I'm 6'1") and I can hold her to calm her, and the table is plenty stable. I can put a foot on the base to make sure it doesn't move any, and I can now get to all of her parts without bending over (which hurts my back after a bit) and she feels secure. Ideal for my use. The post screws onto the top but just slides into the bottom. However, the post has a smaller diameter where it slides into the base, so it fits pretty snugly, and any weight makes it more snug. If that presented a problem it would be simple to drill two holes and screw the post and base together with sheet metal screws. ... show more
