Needed a small black freezer and this one is working well (week two). It runs quietly. Mine arrived with some scratches and scuff marks (not shipping related), so I contacted customer service and they immediately resolved the issue. The only downside to this model is the mechanical design. The power indicator light on the front of the unit only lights up if the compressor is running. So if the compressor is not running, the power light is off. I would prefer the power light to always show that the unit is cold and properly functioning….not just when the compressor is running.

I live in a small apartment with just me and my boyfriend and this freezer is perfect for us to be able to buy and deep freeze bigger meat packages or buy freezer meals and snacks in bulk to last us a couple weeks. If we had anyone else it would probably be a little smal though so if you have a small family or multiple roommates and a little more space you may want to look at a larger option! It’s also super easy to use there’s a knob on the bottom corner to set the temperature and the directions outline what temperature you should use for what which was super helpful!
