Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like the power of this unit … and the bigger bowl. Overall, the weight is lighter so I don’t have difficulty moving it around since I have arthritis in my hands - which is the main reason I needed it. I’ve only used it once so far (just bought it) and I’m really happy with it but best of all I like the price. I could buy this one three or four times over compared to buying a big name brand that would be too heavy for me to lift. I like this silver clear color because it matches the big appliances in the kitchen. The quality overall is pretty good and fine enough for me! It cleans easily and is not too too noisy. I would buy this exact one again if I ever needed to. The size is not too bulky on the counter. I just leave it out.

The day this arrived, I used it right away to make a cake. Fantastic!! I have a regular kitchen aid mixer, but it weighs about 300 pounds. Lol! But it's too heavy for me to drag out on a regular basis, since I'm old now:) This mixer is what I was looking for, it's compact, weighs less than 20 pounds, easy to lift and works like a dream. It is not flimsy, it's sturdy, well made and fits on the counter so much better. The seller shipped quickly in excellent packing material. I love to bake, so this appliance will be used a lot!

Nice and quiet. I have made one cake with it and I works very well. My original mixer, a sunbeam last for almost 50 years. I am hoping this will last at least 15 years. The instructions s are ok. But they don't specify speeds for anything except the recipes in the instruction manual.

While it was able to mix my bread dough I was really disappointed with the cheapness of the beaters. It will be interesting to see how long that they will last due to the fact that the coating on them looks like it’s about ready to come off.

This thing rocks. The emphasis is appropriately placed on the machinery inside the plastic housing - it's reasonably lightweight. I'm a gearhead. Digging into the mechanics of things is as natural as breathing. I researched other cheapseats for comparison; they didn't measure up. If you prefer to pay for form, buy the trusted original. If you want function (a monster truck in a plastic case), buy this one. Performace wise, idon't even need the suction cups on the bottom. I bake A LOT of bread, which is the most taxing chore fore a mixer this size. It's dauntless, and it stays put without dancing across my counters. I use a smaller mixer for whipped cream, with flat beaters. This one works great, but i don't make big enough batches to make the wire beater that comes with this one efficient.

Finally got a chance to use this. Was really nice to finally mix hands free. The only thing I had a problem with was the recipe requested you to beat 2 eggs --- well the beater doesn't go deep enough to even touch the eggs. Had to use a separate handhelp mixer to beat them.
