-UPDATE- The company reached out to me and offered a refund for the defective product. Service was top notch. I was not expecting a refund nor even a reply, so thank you! That said, I can only hope they find a way to catch these defective blades before reaching the hands of their customers. Two bad blades in a row is worrisome. Thankfully I had the means to sharpen them properly. But there are many who do not and depend on the blade being useful out of the box. I don't know how long the new edge I put on the blade will hold, but I will update if there is a change. But so far, so good. Thank you again, ECOMLT. -ORIGNAL REVIEW- The first knife I received was dull, unhoned with burs. It would not even cut a post-it note! I sent it back thinking I got a bad knife. Second one arrived; same issue! The knife's edge had a very course grind. I spent over an hour putting a new edge on the blade. It cuts well now, but I am leery of it's durability. If the edge does not hold, I will update the review and demand a refund.

Just a warning it is very sharp holds it’s edge for a while I have bought 5 now for my family after I tried mine is the best kitchen knife I own

I have one and I bought one for my daughter. This knife comes razor sharp. You can literally shave the hair right off your arm. The only problem is you have to learn how to keep it sharp.

So the only reason that it's not broken is because its a tough quality knife my complaint is that the box is smashed almost all ripped apart this item I bought as a gift no way the box its in is usable....so I cant gift it and can't keep it nicely stored bummer I would have appreciated less packaging instead thetrash that was with it
