Care instructions: ‎DO NOT lubricate or immerse in water any part of this child restraint, unless rinsing is permitted plastic and metal parts may be wiped clean with mild soap and water and dried with a soft cloth. Great for older toddlers. Very comfortable and good quality. It does need a car seat protector under if you have leather seats in your car. The bottom of the car seat is very thin and rough and can crease your leather car seats badly and damage them.

If you’re flying with a toddler and need a car seat solution that won’t break your back or your patience, this travel booster is a game-changer. It’s incredibly lightweight—seriously, I carried it through two airports without feeling like I added a ton of extra baggage. Some models even fit in a backpack or clip onto your suitcase. Despite how compact it is, I was really impressed with the safety. It has a secure harness or uses the car’s seatbelt (depending on the model and your child’s size), and it meets U.S. safety standards, which gave me peace of mind in taxis and rental cars. I bought this carseat during a recent Prime Day (the cost was still the same post-prime so be aware if you're looking for extra Prime savings). The reviews looked good so I took a chance. I'm glad I did! This carseat was purchased for my grandbaby who is now withing the size range this seat offers. It also transitions to a booster when that time comes. Shipping was pretty fast. There was no noticeable damage to the box & no damage to the seat. Setup is as easy as the base was for the base of the former carseat. It has extra straps for latching the top to the seat as well as space for the car's seat belt to be utilized for even more security. The former carseat latches were plastic. It always worried me. These are metal & give me more peace of mind. You will need to watch that on hot days, though. The only addition I would like to see is more head protection. It seems really wide even with the "wings" which concerns me some fo side impacts. Perhaps something removable as the child grows to protect the head. Otherwise, easy to adjust the straps, install, & secure. Would buy again. ... show more

    • Got this for travel….
Mainly got this for travel. So my daughter is now 3 and for airplane rides I prefer she has her own seat with her own car seat in it and she is comfortable, she plays games, watches movies, takes naps and enjoys snacks- she does all the things & we have an easy flight this way! So this year I didn’t want to bring one of our regular every day car seats they are heavy and since she is over 40 lbs I read she could use something else like that is just booster or high back booster (don’t quote me but look it up) ANYWAYS I still prefer it have a back and the idea of a 5-point harness. Whenever I found this seat it was an IMMEDIATE PURCHASE! It IS lightweight & easy to install! It’s easy to carry and buckle and she’s safe, sturdy and comfortable. I’m very pleased with this seat! We are using it as a 5-point harness car seat and since it worked so well we’ve also now been able to install it in my mothers car for her to pick up my daughter from school to help us out and it was perfect! We will be using it for a while, for all plane travel and rental car use as well as with grandma! WIN! I definitely recommend this one especially for travel and occasional use but the fact it’s convertible and grows with our babies is wonderful and we’ll be using it for a long time as long as nothing damages it at any point. Purchased this for travel. I wanted something light weight to carry through the airport and easy/quick set up for the rental car/uber. It meets both of those needs!
