Hands down the best primer I've used. First off, it is not silicone based so it actually helps hydrate your face and is nourishing to your face and it really holds the makeup on super well. Also, if you've even used the silicone based primers you will later find out from your husband, who ends up snaking your sink drain that the silicone really gunks up the drain whereas the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer doesn't! I hear people here saying that it is more expensive that other primers but it really is not. It's far better for your face as it has real life affirming ingredients, it is easy to carry in a travel pouch or purse, it goes a long way, and your husband will thank you for not making him snake the drain out so often! ... show more

First, let me say I love the Milk brand product line. You can be confident knowing that you are applying products that are made with clean ingredients. I particularly love this hydro grip primer. My makeup easily wears for 12 to 18 hours without needing touch-ups. The primer does go on tacky as it is a gel, but that is the way it's meant to be. You can still easily apply your foundation over the primer. I put on moisturizer, then this primer, then foundation.
