I passed on the standard 'install below tv' direction (since I see those as two separate events/moods) and made a little nook. Hint for anyone with Alexa; ask her to play fireplace sounds. This fireplace is great ! Super easy to install. Puts out quite a bit of heat too. 6 color changing modes , comes with faux logs and clear crystals for a more modern effect. Very easy to mount and works perfectly. Remote control works good from a very good distance too. A+ fireplace

The instructions are a bit basic. The fireplace is nice. My wood piece arrived with a crack in it. Instead of going through the hassle of returning, I asked the seller to ship me just a new wood piece, but I was informed they couldn't due to freight and given a $20 credit. The heat is warm, but I feel it takes a little while to get the room cozy. The fire looks great. The remote is finicky and you have to have to pointed just so to actually get the fireplace settings to work which can be annoying. Overall, it's a decent fireplace for the money ... show more
