This is the perfect size BBQ for us. It works great and we have been using it almost every day. It is amazing and just what we we looking for. It was not too hard for my partner to put it together which was surprising based on other reviews. It is so light and small that we have been taking it camping too. I purchased this Grill because I wanted something small and convenient for grilling out rather than having to light a fire in the fire pit each time I wanted to cook. This Grill is very nice and I like having it, but it came with some damage Straight Out of the Box along the lid and after fully assembling the entire grill, the frame tubing seems very flimsy. I work as an electrical mechanic, so I took it upon myself to put in some extra screws and bolts in the tubing to firm it up and make it more little secure. The grill Cooks great and works as expected. If Char-Broil would make a little bit more of a sturdy frame, this would be rated five stars! ... show more

Once it's together it's great, works perfectly, and cooks fast. Easy to clean (As long as you line the bottom with tin foil) The burner works pretty well. BUT.. I put items together all the time. This one was a challenge. You have to follow the instructions by the letter carefully. It helps that the nuts and bolts holder is marked but still wicked complicated. NOTHING comes assembled. NOT ONE THING. So its going to take 1.5-2 hours minimum. ... show more

The assembly took about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We read other reviews regarding complaints related to assembly. We just had to carefully review each step of the instructions to ensure it was going together correctly. The instructions were diagrams and they did require attention to detail in order to successfully assemble the grill. There were also several times we were glad there was one of us to hold pieces while the other tightened the screws. Assembling solo would pose a definite challenge. A powered screwdriver also speeded the assembly. My husband and I assembled the grill and it didn’t even spark a disagreement. We used the grill this evening to cook burgers and the grill functioned as expected. This is a great little grill. We have had a Charbroil Grill before and it lasted many years. I live alone, so no need for a huge Grill. The side burner is nice for Stir- Fry items in a skillet. Assembly took me 3 hours. I wasn’t in any hurry. The instructions are diagrams in numerical order.

I am an engineer, and the instructions to assemble are reasonable. This will not be a quick install, but you will move through it reasonably. They offer extra screws, etc. so you will have a fall back for most of the install. The grill is the perfect size for two + people. Although this product had a number of one-star reviews, the four- and five-star reviews were in the majority and seemed very credible, so I decided to purchase this gas grill, which I did at an excellent price. It came neatly packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, and all the pieces were there, adequately marked to facilitate assembly. It comes with assembly instructions, which should be read from beginning to end before starting the process. It will save you time. I put it together by myself in about three hours, as I preferred to do it slowly in order to avoid problems later. A couple of steps could be best performed if done by two people, but it is not a must. I have used this grill for about two months, and it has worked very well so far.
