Its dual action piston pressurizes the pump on both the up and down stroke so you're not working as hard to pump. The attached backpad, straps, and cushioned grip shut-off keep you comfortable while spraying. If you have a larger or taller area to cover, use the lock on/off spray feature on the shut-off assembly and with three nozzle types included, you have options to fit your application.

Where to start... The straps just pop off the bottom because they just snap around the bar. That is awesome when it's full of liquid. Pressure never builds up enough to spray effectively, but you will pump your arm off trying to get it there. The noise that comes from this thing everytime you pump up or down is nerve wracking and embarrassing as neighbors from down the street can hear it clearly. And as mentioned above, you will be cranking a lot more than you would expect. I could go on about the negatives with this thing but there is no need. This is by far the worst sprayer I have ever used/ owned/ purchased. If you hate your arm and ears and love doing a terrible job while wearing yourself out, then this thing is for you. ... show more

Compared to Chapin backpack sprayers I’ve used over the years, this new one is totally inferior. Everything about it is cheap and the pump action on it is lousy. Older versions of this unit by the same company were awesome and I used them consistently for years. I’m very disappointed! ONLY GET PRESSURE WHEN YOU PUMP IT. VERY LITTLE EXCESS PRESSURE IF NOT PUMPING.

    • Not a quality product. Poorly assembled
Very disappointed, looked like a quality product. Once filled with water the leaks started. The fitting in the tank bottom the hose attached to was cross threaded. Removed it and properly threaded it on. Still leaked, tightened some more and it got better. Notice the hose clamp was loose, tightened it. Seemed to be OK until I started walking around using it to spray...leaks. And to boot its hard to pump. Had a Gilmour that last 15 years with no issues. ... show more

Product poorly designed. Very bulky, awkward and hard to pump, leaks, dosent hold pressure. And when you pump air sounds like a donkey. Shoulder straps kept disconnecting. Hard to put on the back when its full. Sprayer part works well until it quickly looses pressure. Returning.

ls dripping down my back. The pump section is either broken or wasn't sealed properly. This was a complete waste of money, I cannot recommend
