I live on a large rural property, and need all the help I can get maintaining it. This EZ Mount multi-purpose sprayer is ideal and so convenient for spraying herbicides or fertilizers without having to refill my sprayer frequently, and without having to lug it distances across my property. It comes with mounting gear and I have it attached to my lawn tractor. It can also be mounted to an ATV. The 19" poly wand and 180" reinforced PVC hose allow me to reach areas of brush and taller grasses that are normally difficult to reach. The handle has a lock on/off switch to help reduce dripping, which is important when using herbicides. I like that I can spray a cone or stream, depending on how wide of an area that I'm trying to cover. The wand is held neatly in place when not in use along the side of the tank by means of two clips that are provided with it. The wide tank opening makes it easy to fill and mix solutions. I also like that it has a large 15 gallon tank, allowing me to cover a large area before having to refill it. The translucent poly tank allows me to see the liquid level while I'm spraying, and know when I'm getting low. This is an excellent item to have on hand if you have a larger property to maintain, and I recommend it!

I looked at a lot of different sprayers and I came across this Chapin. I was excited because its American made and I hate supporting countries like China and the junk they make. I received the sprayer, I hooked it up to a ranger, mounted the boom, put everything together, cleaned out the plastic bits in the bottom of the tank, turned on the pump to make sure it worked and began filling the tank. Thays when I noticed there's a drain at the bottom of the tank. Now I have chemical all over the ranger, me, and yard. I ripped one of the caps off thays used to cap off the hoses and got it stopped. I clean everything up and myself. I then finish filling the 25 gallon tank the rest of the way up, I pull over to my driveway where I want to begin spraying and test it out to get used to it. I turn on the pump and it begins shooting chemical straight up into the air and it covers myself and the ranger again. So now im really pissed, clean myself up and called Chapin. The lady that answered the phone had a nasty attitude and I could tell missing parts is very common by how she talked. She acted like she knew everything, even the spelling on my mailing address she asked me if I was sure thays how its spelled. After a run around with her telling me what parts were missing, she finally listened and said oh you didn't receive the whole kit with straps, pressure gauge, and drain plug, yea it won't work with out that. No sorry nothing, just it will ship out ups next week on Monday. Even if the pump works great after I get the parts, I will probably never deal with Chapin again because of the whole experience, but the cherry on top was the ladies attitude.

I found two similar sprayers on Amazon, this one and a $60 higher priced one. I was reluctant to purchase this one, even for the savings, because honestly it seemed too good to be true. But after reading the reviews, I went ahead and bought it. The first thing I really noticed was the plug and shavings were left inside the container. Not a great start. In this case, it was trapped in the hollow leg and not easy to get out, but certainly would have at least clogged the filter in the long run. After unpacking every thing from inside the container and cleaning out the scraps of plastic, I skimmed the manual. They are pretty brief, but it's also pretty self explanatory for most people looking to perform this type of installation. I liked the it came with two types of nozzles. Mine came with the green ones attached, and I just left them on. They're a fan jet, maybe 40 degrees each direction, so covering about 160 degrees total between the two nozzles. I may experiment with the blue ones in the future, since they seem to be easy to change. But, I was anxious to get started. I was mounting this on a RZR UTV, but the simple cross bars they supply are basic, therfore easily adaptable. For my application, I used a couple of roll bar claps I had and threaded the supplied bolts through the supplied bars and into the bar clamps I had on hand. Leveled them with a level, tightened it all up, and it work out well. Overall appearance even was nice, very slim and low profile. The tank itself is certainly designed more for a workhorse atv, and it didn't sit well in the back of my rzr. I had to crib it up a little bit, as the drain sits too low since it's meant to hang over the seat of an atv. This design could've been improved by adding taller legs, but not hollow. Maybe even some optional extensions for the tank to sit in. Anyway, overall value for the money can't be overstated, so far. I've done my driveway once, and it did work flawlessly. I have not tried the wand attachment yet. I will try to update this review if anything changes, but for now I'm calling it a great value and I highly recommend it! MADE IN USA

We already have a garden tractor, and a trailer it totes around. This looked like a good setup to add to the trailer so that we could primarily spray for bugs, as our property has a major tick problem. I was excited when the kit arrived and was planning it's installation for first thing Saturday morning. I was able to change the orientation of the spray heads easily, and used the included bracketry to mount the spray bar to the back of our little trailer. I strapped the tank just in front of the axle and extended the wiring so that the plug off the switch is at the back of the tractor, so it's easy to disconnect the trailer. I'm now able to mow, and spray, at the same time. Adjusting the spray pattern is easy with the bypass valve. And we're able to be less concerned about ticks now. Having the spray wand enables us to go to an area and "walk" a short distance if we can't spray while driving as well. We'll be using this in the future with weed killer for sure.
