Description

Easily mount the Chapin 97214 25-gallon deluxe spot sprayer to your ATV, UTV or lawn tractor. The 25-gallon rust-resistant tank is durable and handles professional-grade landscaping and garden chemicals. The tank opening is 6-inches wide to easily fill, clean and service. Its 2.5 GPM Chapin pump quick-connects for easy install. Reach farther and spray longer distances with the 19-inch poly wand and 180-inch reinforced PVC hose. Chemical-resistant seals and gaskets hold up to harsher chemicals so you can use your preferred lawn, garden, pest and weed control product. Triple-filtration is standard with a filter basket at the cap, in-tank filter and at the shut-off. A 2-nozzle boom is included. Light enough to idle around on my 3/4” receiver full of water. I’m sure my car isn’t psyched but it’s not all the time I need the car. Anyways I got a riding lawnmower battery from tractor supply because the pump did not like running on my trailer wiring harness. With the battery it works great and pushes water through about 70 ft of hose nicely. Have only done a 2 hour spray session but it seems like the battery will last all day. I will update. This setup works incredible for foliar spraying down rows of plants. I’m sure many use this for herbicide but my regenerative people out there, maybe doing Jadam or Korean Natural farming, steal this setup and use it. Can mount on atv as well, I’m just doing what’s necessary to farm :-) ... show more

I found two similar sprayers on Amazon, this one and a $60 higher priced one. I was reluctant to purchase this one, even for the savings, because honestly it seemed too good to be true. But after reading the reviews, I went ahead and bought it. The first thing I really noticed was the plug and shavings were left inside the container. Not a great start. In this case, it was trapped in the hollow leg and not easy to get out, but certainly would have at least clogged the filter in the long run. After unpacking every thing from inside the container and cleaning out the scraps of plastic, I skimmed the manual. They are pretty brief, but it's also pretty self explanatory for most people looking to perform this type of installation. I liked the it came with two types of nozzles. Mine came with the green ones attached, and I just left them on. They're a fan jet, maybe 40 degrees each direction, so covering about 160 degrees total between the two nozzles. I may experiment with the blue ones in the future, since they seem to be easy to change. But, I was anxious to get started. I was mounting this on a RZR UTV, but the simple cross bars they supply are basic, therfore easily adaptable. For my application, I used a couple of roll bar claps I had and threaded the supplied bolts through the supplied bars and into the bar clamps I had on hand. Leveled them with a level, tightened it all up, and it work out well. Overall appearance even was nice, very slim and low profile. The tank itself is certainly designed more for a workhorse atv, and it didn't sit well in the back of my rzr. I had to crib it up a little bit, as the drain sits too low since it's meant to hang over the seat of an atv. This design could've been improved by adding taller legs, but not hollow. Maybe even some optional extensions for the tank to sit in. Anyway, overall value for the money can't be overstated, so far. I've done my driveway once, and it did work flawlessly. I have not tried the wand attachment yet. I will try to update this review if anything changes, but for now I'm calling it a great value and I highly recommend it! MADE IN USA ... show more

No where in the description or in the pictures does it show you need an additional $67 to buy a bracket so you can mount the boom sprayer to your atv. This is not ok and total bs. I have a one star bec of this. Shame on you Chapman for not including this in your description or in the box. DO NOT BUY!! Look for something complete before you waste your money. ... show more

The entire unit arrived packaged well and complete. Detailed instructions were provided, installed it easily! Some have complained about the wand attachment, but I found it was at least average quality and can be replaced without much trouble if need be. As to actually spraying product, it works like a champ and makes spreading insect control and fertilizer simple! Thumbs up for me! ... show more
