WORKED LIKE A CHARM FOR SALT. SPREADS NICE, QUALITY MADE.
Size: 3 -Liter
Style: Hand Crank
EXACTLY what I wanted. Spreads salt GREAT. No clogging, spreads far, love it. Had a Scotts WIZZ and it wasn't worth a crap for salt. Worked great with fertilizer and grass seed though.

Plastic is good for resistance to salt.
Size: 3 -Liter
Style: Hand Crank
All plastic design is very important since I will be mainly using this for spreading salt on icy days. I used to use a walking spreader but had too much metal in it and always seized every year

Good overall, handle does stick
Size: 3 -Liter
Style: Hand Crank
This is lightweight and easy to use. I did try to spread grass seed mixed with fertilizer in this and it would not work and the handle kept getting stuck. I then just did plain grass seed and it worked great at spreading the seed all over the area I needed it to be. The handle did get stuck when using it for the seed only and I had to manually spread some of the seed

Not impressed, disappointed
Size: 3 -Liter
Style: Hand Crank
First time I used this product it broke. I loaded it up with salt to spread around my driveway and went to work. Within the first 30 seconds it was stiff to move the handle. The handle was the first thing to break. I had already loaded it up with salt so I tried to move the handle around without the peg and it was very stiff. Mind you this brand new, not clumpy salt. When I continued to try and spread the salt, the handle would get stuck and not move. I continued to try and loosen the handle by moving the spreader disc and it wasn’t budging. Eventually after trying to rotate the handle the mechanism that connects the handle to the spreader wheel broke and the handle spun freely without moving the spreader disc completely making the device unusable. Disappointed in the quality. I live in Montana where I need a dependable device like this. Unfortunately I was hoping this would be it.

Wish it were better…
Size: 3 -Liter
Style: Hand Crank
It works pretty well but the salt gets stuck in the mechanism easily and then the handle starts to strip itself. I wish it were better. Fine salt (almost like sand) would work much better.

Works perfect
Size: 3 -Liter

I love it. Holds enough to do a 6 car driveway without having to refill. Sprays it evenly so you don’t waste product.

Didn’t work for me
Size: 3 -Liter
Style: Hand Crank
I bought it to spread bug killer granules, which is the same size as fertilizer. It jams up and does not spin as it should. Would not buy again.
