Living in New England means dealing with some serious ice, and these pellets have been a lifesaver. They work quickly, even in below-freezing temps, and I’ve noticed they leave less residue compared to other brands I’ve tried. I also like that they spread evenly and don’t require dumping huge amounts to be effective. Pros: Melts ice fast, even in harsh New England conditions Requires less product for good coverage Leaves less mess and residue Cons: Container is a bit heavy to lug around Slightly pricier than bulk rock salt Does clump just a little bit.

With the shortage of salt any ice met was hard to find locally and what was available was either in small cans or medium sized bags that had been damaged by moisture resulting in the pebbles of ice melt solidifying to small rocks. I usually don't like to have items this heavy shipped, but the price was good and it came relatively quickly. Also, the bag and product came intact. The ice melt was the normal small crystals (not clumped into rocks) that It was able to be spread easily with little waste. It also has a nice green color that allows you to gauge how much you put down and where extra is needed to cover missed spots. All in all a good purchase!
