Chapin's 61802 ProSeries poly backpack sprayer with foaming nozzle: designed for the professional landscaper and the homeowner. Its 4-gallon poly backpack tank has a 5-inch wide backpack tank opening for easy filling and cleaning. Chapin's backpack sprayers come with a standard 3-stage filtration system to prevent clogging. The foaming nozzle allows you to easily see where you spray and limits the amount of chemicals used and dials in your sprayer accuracy. It includes a poly wand, cushion grip poly shut-off, multiple spray nozzles, positional pump handle and padded backpack shoulder straps. Chemical-resistant seals provide compatibility with fertilizers, weed killers and pesticides. Made in the USA with global materials.

It fits well after the straps are adjusted, it only takes 5 or 6 pumps to bet good pressure to spray. It’s a bit heavy with more than a gallon or gallon and a half for this senior especially on a steep grade. This item, as you can see by the photos, the handle in the upright position is impossible to reach when that is on your back. The down position is where the position should be I could not install the second bolt into the handle because of its closeness to the frame, I’m a small dude. I weigh 160 pounds and the harness was too small for me. Otherwise the item seems built enough, but there was no way to use it so I returned it. ... show more

The unit seemed to be high quality made however when I attempted to screw the fill spout top on I had trouble. Upon looking at the threads they were not made correctly and caused cross-threading when you tried to screw the top on. The top also was warped as measured with my digital caliper. Pump handle is very awkward in it's positioning and makes it somewhat difficult to use. The straps are also very uncomfortable especially when full. In hindsight, I wish I would have opted for the more expensive ones with a better design on the ergonomics and comfort.
