  • Brooks does it again Brooks does it again
Size: 11.5 Color: Black/Gold/Pink
I picked up the Brooks Men’s Hyperion 2 in the black and gold colorway, and they look even better in person — sleek, modern, and just the right amount of flash. The fit is true to size and feels super lightweight, almost like you’re wearing nothing at all. The cushioning is responsive without being overly soft, which makes them great for tempo runs and everyday training. My feet stay cool and comfortable even after longer miles, and the grip holds up well on both pavement and treadmill surfaces. Overall, these shoes deliver that classic Brooks comfort with a fresh, stylish look. Whether you’re logging serious miles or just want a sharp-looking pair of runners, the Hyperion 2 is a solid choice. ⸻ Would you like me to make it sound a bit more personal (like from your own experience, e.g., “I’ve been running 3-4 times a week in these…”)? ... show more

  • Great Trainer Shoe for Long Distance
Bought these for my son, a high school cross-country and long-distance track runner. He puts in about 20 miles a week and uses these as his daily trainers. According to him, they fit his narrow feet perfectly and offer a great balance of comfort and performance. He highly recommends them for long-distance base miles, and I’ll definitely be buying another pair of Brooks when he wears these out. He was previously wearing New Balance, but says he's likely to convert! ... show more

  • Excellent training *and* racing shoe.
These shoes are lightweight and speedy and hold together well! Plenty of support, and they smartly forgo having even more for their lighter weight and sleeker appearance.

  • Brooks Does It Again – Hyperion 2 Delivers
I’ve tried a bunch of different running shoes over the years, but I always seem to come back to Brooks. The Hyperion 2 has been a great fit for my usual runs—typically 4 to 6 miles during the week, with a longer one (13–15 miles) every couple of weeks. They feel light on my feet but still give enough support for those longer distances. The tread is a little thinner than some other Brooks models I’ve worn, so I’m not sure how they’d hold up on rougher surfaces or wet days. But for road running, they’ve worked just fine. Overall, these are reliable, comfortable shoes that get the job done. I’d definitely buy them again. ... show more

  • Sleek shoe that’s great for travel
I’m a woman, but I like the men’s color options. I really like the look of this sneaker, even though I’m still mourning the discontinuation of Levitate. This is probably the closest I’ve found to it. It’s a comfortable shoe, but not as padded or bouncy as Glycerin. It is sleeker, though. For all day walking or support, I would still recommend Glycerin. However, I’m keeping this as it’s sleeker than Glycerin and less out of place in urban environments (great for travel). Out of all my Brooks, these don’t seem as high of quality. Fit true to size—I wear a 9 in all shoes and Brooks and ordered a men’s size 7.5. ... show more

  • Fantastic shoes.
Size: 11 Color: Crystal Seas/Diva Pink/Black
I'm an avid runner. I have race shoes, max-cushion recovery shoes, stiffer long run trainers but these are my ideal speed shoes. I run speed intervals with these shoes and do treadmill runs with them and they're fantastic. Also, as someone that frequently runs in Superblast 2's or More V5s- these shoes look much more normal if you're doing regular workouts as running shoes are so specialized these days. They're a little thin on the forefoot when I do long workouts, I feel a serious pressure on the forefoot after I've really given my all but if you're not doing marathon intervals, you're going to be just fine. Great shoes. Good looking. Good comfort. Very light weight. I'm surprised these aren't talked about more as the general daily trainer. I feel like these shoes are more for the masses than the Novablasts, Rebels, Pegasus, and more expensive speed trainers like the Boston or Endorphin. ... show more

  • Magic Feet: The best running shoe I’ve ever worn. Magic Feet: The best running shoe I’ve ever worn.
The BEST running shoe I’ve ever put on my feet. I’ve been running for nearly 30 years and as I age, footwear has become my essential piece of equipment (even more than before.) Now at 42 years old, I have battling persistent calf issues over the past 3-5 years….but not with the Brooks Hyperion 2. In fact, I have had zero injuries since switching to these shoes!! Prior to this I tried several Brooks lines. Ghost, Levitate, and Glycerin….I experienced calf discomfort with all of those. I’ve also tried the Nike Pegasus within the past 5 years with the same result. Brooks offers several lines and one is bound to be the perfect shoe for you. The Brooks Hyperion 2 is so good I had to get a 2nd pair. Version 3 is now available but I don’t dare move on from the 2’s until I can no longer get them. This is the perfect shoe (for me.) Note: New pair are black. Gray are my first pair. ... show more
