I like that there's a handle for him to hold on to, definitely needed for sharper turns or getting up sidewalk ramps on our walks where the excess movement throws him off balance more easily. These skateboards are made with quality materials and they're sturdy BUT there is no adjustment on the parent handle. I'm 5'5 and it's fine for me for the most part, but anyone taller or shorter will strain after a while. Also, the handle side of the board is SO much heavier and tips extremely easily. Lastly, when you do take the push handle off, there is a lot of metal poking out. If your kid is coming at you, watch your knees. ... show more

how are other changing the direction? there is no way to use this unless you are in a straight street without obstacles and stones. it is very uncomfy to control and the handles are heavier than the board so it can't stand on its own when no one is riding it. if it is time to remove the handle, then i think we would rather purchase a regular skateboard than using this board without handles. perhaps the durability itself is what we paid for, but other than that, i would say it is quite pricey. hope we could have returned it when we had the chance. ... show more
