My backpack sprayer is pretty old but still worked fine until this season. Just wouldn't spray right. I tried adjusting it as usual but the plastic threads were worn. I think the guy I loaned it to last year cross-threaded it and I couldn't adjust the spray pattern. I found this part on Amazon. It matched my model # so I ordered it. I's made by Chapin, screwed right on and now the sprayer works perfectly. Now sprays all the patterns, course to fine. I should caution everyone that the plastic part with male threads is the weak point of this assembly and if you force the brass piece on without threading correctly, it will bugger the threads like mine did. $10 fix! ... show more

My original nozzle had somehow got dented causing it not to spray correctly. I bought this as a replacement and it works great. My sprayer is the Chapin 20v sprayer with the Black and Decker batteries.
