I was initially leery about buying it, but I am very glad that I did. The box it came in was slightly damaged, but the contents were just fine. Everything is smartly organized and well padded in the box. The tea set has everything you need for brewing tea gongfu style. It has a nice kyusu style teapot and lid, a tea strainer with a rest, a gongdaobai (justice or fairness cup), and six serving cups. Please note that it does not come with a tea tray. The glazing and finish is excellent, with a rich depth of color, and I noticed no chips, cracks, warping, or any other noticeable defects in the material. The craftsmanship is also excellent, someone clearly had a fair bit of skill in making this product. For the trial run, I brewed a nice Yunwu (clouds and mist oolong), it turned out amazing and the tea set did a great job of brewing it. I noticed that other reviewers were giving negative reviews because of the sizes of the teapot and cups. Please understand that this is NOT a tea set meant for Western style brewing, it’s designed for Chinese gongfu style brewing. They are as different as night and day. This is a wonderful set, and would make a great gift for anyone who loves tea.

This tea set is very elegant and classy in design. The finish is very smooth and the design is nice. The set comes with everything you need to serve tea for 6 people. The cups themselves looks very nice and is just the right size for a relaxing tea time. The main tea pot is easy to pour and not to heavy to maneuver. Only concern is the first set came broken, and Amazon had to re-ship the replacement as the product is not well packaged. What I like: 1. Elegant design 2. Full set for a relaxing tea time 3. Serves 6 people Note: Check content upon receipt, the cups are very fragile.

Not exciting. also super tiny pot and super tiny cups. Also has a thing I have no idea what its for. Like a super wide funnel or something but you cant use it with the tea pot because the tea strainer has to be in there. Also, the tea infuser is just a pour over so no way to steep the tea. The main pot holds about 5 oz of water. For perspective, this is about a half a coffee cup so be prepared to need to refill it every 2.4 seconds. This is not a toy set and appears to be real ceramic. There are 0 instructions on how to use this or what the different pieces are for and no use and care guide. Just a cheap tea set. Highly dissapointed.

The deep blue and gold colors are very pretty, you can tell that these were carefully crafted. These are small but I love the size. They create a particularly cozy and personal energy with those who you choose to share these with. It's as much healing as it is ritual to welcome guests or family members into your home and pull this set out. Same feeling you get when you make and share comfort food. They are very warm and charming.

I recently started drinking hot tea and thought this would be great to share with people. I didn’t know anything about the tea ceremony before I got it but it seems like the perfect starter set with the pot, strainer and cups. Of the point is the enjoy tea and social with friends, it’s on point. Everyone loved the set, it was a conversation starter and a great start to more tea ceremonies for me. Everything came in perfect but I agree that the box could do with at least an extra layer of foam to keep it safe. The blue finish is beautiful and everything works perfectly. Plus it looks so nice that I leave it out in the dining table as a center piece.
