I have gotten the room darkening shade before and it works great for my son's room It is good quality. I like the flexible sizing options and it fits great. So far these shades are perfect for the window I needed them for. Great with blocking the light. Only complaint is the smell they give off when the sun hits them. I’ve only had them up a few days so hoping the smell goes away and is not toxic.

White cellular shade for a sunroom French door. Perfect size. Easy to install, although the instructions were not real clear. Looks good, performs well, filtering out the strong west sun without making the room dark. Have used this type of shade for 20 years. Something new to me, is the clear plastic handle at the bottom for pulling the shade up/down. It seems a little loose but works fine. This 1-1/2" handle keeps you from getting the blind base dirty. Will buy this product again.

These blinds are wonderful. They were so easy to install and glide so easily. They are supposed to help with light filtering and you can see some pictures of light shining directly into my back door and how it is not a problem anymore. They are quite durable too. I used one on my back door for about 4 years without any issues. We ended up having to replace it because the installer did something weird with the door and snapped off where it clips. They offered to replace it, but these blinds are so inexpensive, I told him not to worry about it and just bought a new one.
