This controller replaced a Chamberlain part 41A7305-1. The LED display on my Chamberlain part 41A7305-1 controller inexplicably died. It turned into a solid color and that was that. Although this part seems a direct and compatible replacement, and is probably just a Chamberlain unit rebranded, I hope that the display is more reliable. ... show more

I am sure that this unit will work fi ne. My problem is i fixed mine and wanted to return the one i ordered but cannot return it. Problem is the return info is hidden you have to click on return info to see that lesson learned. At least i have a backup if the original goes bad.

The media could not be loaded. Do not waste your money, the wall control that came with the unit would go off and not come back on mins at a time. The unit never keeps the time and works when it feels like working. The light comes on and off throughout the day and night. I have cameras in my vehicles and I get warnings all night from the motions detection because the light comes on and off, I had to turn my cameras off in the vehicles. I bought this one as a replacement and it does the same thing $60 out the window ... show more

This is my second replacement. Both prior units didn't last more than 18 months. Do not recommend. Based on my own experience with this order I do not recommend the seller "Open Door Discount Remotes". Buyer beware.

    • Had to return these - which is why I'm giving a 5 STAR REVIEW! This is a MUST READ.
This is my first deep dive on garage door opener technology and it was an eye-opener. The description of this product says that your opener must have a yellow LEARN button to use this product. What that meant to me was that the main unit must have a LEARN button in order to pair the new opener button. BOY WAS I WRONG! It turns out that Chamberlain and LiftMaster have color-coded LEARN buttons that allow installers, techs and end-users to select the correct opener button based on the level of the technology built into the main unit. There are yellow, gray, purple and blue LEARN buttons and you MUST buy an opener button that is matched to your main unit's LEARN button color. I also learned that the color of the antenna wire that hangs down from your main unit is the same color as the LEARN button. Live and learn. My Amazon seller was Open Door Discount Remotes. They had no obligation to accept a return of the product, but they did anyway, giving me full credit for my order of the wrong product. I purchased 2 replacements from them (having the correct color coding) and they were exceptionally nice about the level of my confusion and got me the correct parts quickly. I'm giving this product a 5 star review not because of the product, but because of the exceptional customer service provided by Open Door Discount Remotes. Thanks, guys! ... show more
