My Greenworks 80V chainsaw didn't come with a case and they make it impossible to buy their hard case which comes with the chainsaw from their website. I bought this hoping it would work and everything fits great the plastic sleeve on my chainsaw can stay on the chain and still be installed in this bag so it won't chew the bag up, there's plenty of room for any tools, sharpeners, bar lube, and batteries as well so that's a HUGE plus! But, as soon as I strapped the handle together I noviced that the stitches/threads are already coming apart by the handle padding, so that's not a good sign for longevity for the bag at all. But, I fugure it's a chainsaw bag, it's gonna get tossed around and beat up and oily and dirty, so let's roll eith it but that's why it lost a star.

Well made good quality fabric

I bought this carrying case for my cordless chainsaw because I wanted a convenient way to keep everything together instead of having the saw, batteries, charger, bar oil, and tools scattered around the garage or truck. Overall, it does a decent job and has some features that I really like, but it also has a significant flaw that keeps it from earning a higher rating. The extra storage pockets are probably my favorite feature. They provide plenty of room for carrying spare batteries, bar oil, gloves, a scrench, wedges, and other items I like to have with me when cutting trees or cleaning up storm damage. Having everything in one case makes it much easier to grab and go. The biggest issue is the section where the guide bar fits. In my opinion, it's simply too loose, and the material used in that area isn't thick enough to withstand contact with the chain. After using the case, the chain started wearing through the fabric and eventually ripped it open. Because of this, I strongly recommend keeping a bar or scabbard cover on your chainsaw before placing it in the case. Without one, I don't think the case will hold up over time. For $42.99, I feel the price is a little high considering this durability issue. If the manufacturer reinforced the guide bar area with thicker, cut-resistant material, this would be a much better product and could easily earn a higher rating from me. Overall, it's a functional carrying case that does a good job of organizing your chainsaw and accessories, but the lack of reinforcement where the chain rests is something buyers should be aware of. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. It works, but there's definitely room for improvement. Needed a new case for a Greenworks 16 inch chainsaw... This case is very nice with extra storage compartments and made more for bulky gas chainsaws as it's quite large. While larger than needed, I'll still use it since Greenworks didn't have a replacement...
