I have been using memory foam pillows for many years (thanks to my husband) and I absolutely love them.... this one seems to firm for my liking. It takes me a while to get comfortable with it and at times I wake up with a headache.... my husband has the same one and he likes it.... If you like firm this is for you.....

I've tried all styles of pillows at all different price points: down, memory foam, bamboo, buckwheat.... But they were either too shallow, too high, too soft, too firm, or they would shift/roll around too much. I even found myself trying different combinations with pillows to get that perfect fit and comfort: down pillow on top of memory foam, memory foam with buckwheat pillow in back, etc. This is the first pillow that I've used that I haven't had to modify in any way. Initially, it felt like it was too shallow (or at least shallower than I was used to). But after using this pillow for a week, I'm thinking I was boosting my pillows too high. I use the higher end of the contoured pillow and it perfectly aligns with my neck and cradles my head so comfortably. And I'm able to sleep on my back or on my side equally well. The pillow stays in place so I don't have to deal with it shifting or rolling during the night. Also, I gave the pillow the recommended 24 hours to fully aerate and fluff up. But I will say that there was no heavy odor at all when I first unpackaged the pillow. Highly recommend

Like, really, really firm. My father, however, loves it and says it's made a difference in his neck pain. He remarked that it stays cool and that he likes the heaviness of it because it doesn't slide around the head of the bed. This is certainly no wimpy memory foam pillow and is quite substantial for the price. It came vacuum sealed and we noticed zero odor when we opened it. I do suspect this is made with Latex as I wheezed and itched a bit when I tried it, but dad has no such allergy and thinks it's great. I do wish the manufacturer would disclose if there's Latex in it or not.
