I love these new cameras from Blink. I read reviews and don't know what to think. These are the newest outdoor cameras they run on batteries. I had to use them inside due to the cold weather. They work great. I like them because if their is noise downstairs it shows it as a motion on my camera so I turn on the microphone so I can hear what's going on. My son-in-law came in thorough the first level. He by passed the ring camera, but the blink cameras heard the noise before he was captured on the cameras. They pick up sounds like glass breaking, Slamming doors, if your dog starts barking or baby crying, people talking. Any sounds that breaks the silence. They have a good clear view.. Day and night. The view range is a good wide range. We don't have large outside areas so these cameras are perfect for what we need. Inside 3 level home so, yes we have cameras. Good night vision. We have a blink account going on 5 years and have had no issues with lag time so far. The problem we have had is more of an Internet problem. We are connected to the router, but not to the outside world. We were just told that our equipment is outdated. Spectrum is sending out new equipment. If you want to use the cameras inside facing outside you need get the reflective film for your window. This way the camera doesn't pick up the reflection off the window. I always wait for the Amazon sale to buy my big items. The sales are amazing and money saving. The battery is suppose to be a 2year lasting. I bought these in February 2025. I will post when they read low then I will be able to give you an honest answer. My inside Blink cameras are 5 years old and work every well. Good night clear vision. I hope this was helpful. FYI: The microphone keeps up noise from a good distance. It sit up in the dining room area. Picks up sounds from the kitchen, living room and my son-in-law office. Even when he rolls his chair it picks it up and his voice when he is talking on the phone with the door close. It is muffled, but you hear it. Awesome!

I have SEVERAL Blink Cameras around my house. I have 2 with cords, so they are always visible to anyone, the rest are all battery operated and I move them around. I have a couple aimed at the birdfeeders/birdbaths and to view the wildlife that comes at night. I got these and they work PERFECTLY. I have 2 SYNC Modules because this purchase put me over the limit of the # I can use with one SYNC Module. I can see who/what is outside on all 4 sides of the house. I have them in connection with Alexa and use the notification options. Last year Alexa notified me my Blink Camera detected a person out back, it was 11:30 PM!!! I saw him, didn't know him, called the police. Turns out he was a new neighbor's son trying to find her lost dog, the dog is deaf so he wasn't calling the dog because the camera would have picked up the sound. In the world today these Blink Cameras give me an extra layer of security.

We travel and I was concerned about watching the house. We bought a blink doorbell and two blink 4 cameras. I set up ( which was extremely easy ) the cameras to cover my bank yard. Downloaded the Blink app and can see the whole property. In case of a problem we can be alerted. Great system and much less expensive than others we looked at.

Brother recommended this. Super easy to set up, very intuitive to use the app and the free-trail was also very much appreciated. Ended up upgrading to subscription and pricing for subscription is fair. Easy set-up, it's the size of a fist, discrete and slick design, there is a bit of a delay in real time when watching live, but nothing that bothers me enough. I've got it set to motion detection.

I have a total of five Blink outdoor cameras, all wireless installed around my house. They work well they are night and are easy to install and begin using. I’m hoping to get a few more of these. Highly recommend.

I was looking for an affordable security method. Preferably a camera for my porch. Just the presence of a camera can sometimes thwart ne'er-do-wells, errant youths, hooligans, and street toughs. It is a refurbished sale item so the price is OK, but is it useful ? Only partially. I’m paying $11.99 a month to be able to save clips. The app alerts me when someone is in front of my home, however, when I open the app to view my camera, the person is already halfway down the street all you can see is their back and because I opened the app it does not save to clips so I have no idea what happened before they left. I live in a relatively safe neighborhood, but I still want to take precautions. Some clips are super short, for example, on 4th of July, a couple was walking through my yard when they had no reason to and the clip only showed a few seconds. But meanwhile a dog crossing my yard and I’ll get a full two and three minute video of them pooping. I found that happened before. Things that I really do need to see, the clips are cut extremely short, but other instances of nonsense the clip goes on and on. I have attempted troubleshooting this problem of delayed recordings and notifications by restarting/refreshes, etc., etc. but it still doesn’t change. I pay good money, more than necessary, for my Internet connection to be very speedy because I work from home and other people use it for gaming and television so it’s not the WiFi connection. I think there are way better camera systems and services out there and I think I need to invest in something more reliable that does not save and sell my personal data, audio and images to the highest bidder. Side-note: just to be clear I’m no conspiracy theorist and I like stuff and convenience just as much as the next girl but if you think this mega giant of greed Amazon isn’t hoarding our personal information for their own gain you need to grow up
