  • Great for it's intended purpose
Color: Red
This is a fairly inexpensive way to get a good workout while punching something. I don't kick, so i can't rate this for other martial arts moves, but striking this is fine. It does move a lot,and is noisy, but not as noisy as my grunts when I am hitting it. All in all, no problems if you use it for it's intended purpose. If you are looking for a professional heavy bag to do full boxing workouts, this is not the bag for you. Spend the extra money and get a real heavy bag if thats what you are looking for. If you are looking for a good striking workout bag, especially for cardio purposes, this will do fine. I would suggest that you put it in the place you are going to want it to stay, because once you fill it up, this thing is heavy!!! Also, you may want to invest in the waterbed drain system to help get water out if you have to move it and filled it with water. I am too cheap for that, so if I have to move it, my stronger and much younger kids will tip it until the water drains out!!! ... show more

  • Great heavy bag
So far so good as it's been a few months. It appears durable and going to last a long time. Both my son and I use it a couple times a week. It does slide a bit depending on the surface and whether or not you use water or sand- sand would be heavier. I'm using water and it sits on carpet so it does slide some. It's ok because I work around it anyway to keep from wearing out one area of the bag and that keeps it centered in the room. The cover has creased/indented in a couple areas that are typically at punch and kick level, but the foam has not softened or changed at all. I highly recommend this if you can't hang a heavy bag. It's probably the best standing bag out there. You can punch and kick hard without it tipping unless you are a giant of a person and super strong I guess. Even then I think you'd have to punch/kick push it over intentionally. I don't think it's built to last for a heavy weight's consistent power punches, but works for just about every other workout. We practice Krav Maga and it works great for all my workouts at 6 ft and 190 lbs. I gave it 4 stars overall only because I believe it's a bit overpriced. But, during these pandemic home workout times you have to pay to play. Also, after time it starts to unscrew from the base while punching and you have to stop and re-tighten. The instructions say it will lock in place, but it doesn't- at least not mine. ... show more

  • Good punching bag I like it.
Color: Black 1
Love it feels great to hit thumbs up. 6 bags of 50lb sand bags makes this base very hard to move so think about that.

  • Keeps Me Sane
Color: Red
I have been pounding on this bag as hard as I can for years now and it just takes it. All of your frustrations, stress, pretending this is a bully: this bag just TAKES it. Thanks so much for a phenomenal product! I bought this in 2014. April 2020 update: I’m still using and abusing this. It should be noted that I have the base filled with rocks and it is very heavy. I also have fairly grippy mats under it. I’ve been boxing/training off and on for 16 years and my punches certainly shift it, but just an inch or two thanks to the setup. Still loving it and factually will buy this again if I wear it out. I don’t kick or have any particular interest in doing that. I believe there is an XL version that has more coverage with the padding and would be better suited for that. February 2021 update: STILL using this. Constantly boxing, trying new gloves and really pounding on this bag. I tried to zip tie it to the position I like, but the zip ties exploded after a few punches lol. I may put a rod through, may not. It's not much trouble to reposition exactly where I want it. December 2021 update: In transitioning to kickboxing, the padding is finally showing a bit of wear in the middle. Which makes sense. Just a bit of a small fold, yet still in fantastic condition now almost 7 years later. I’ll just keep pounding on it until it dies lol April 2022: It has finally needed some repairs. The tabs that lodge the back to the post have worn down and are no longer effective. As such, the bag simply falls. After trying a few solutions, I’ve found that drilling a few holes and installing heavy duty drywall anchors and screws has fixed it. I installed four. If they break, I’ll distribute the pressure by adding more. If that fails, I’ll cut the inner post off and instal nuts and bolts. Right back to it! June 2025: It didn’t break lol. ... show more

  • It’s the best
Color: Black 1
As a Muay Thai mom to a Karate kid. This keeps us both busy. Love it. We filled with sand and it took a bit of time even with our large funnel but I prefer to fill with sand. It’s very durable and great quality. The weight is great and the size is full size and perfect for what we do.

  • Fantastic adjustability for the whole family
Color: Black
I used bags like this in the gym for kickboxing and this was my favorite style because of the amount of padding, the adjustability, and weight. I bought this for home use and it's working perfect! I can make it short enough for my 5 year old to use, but tall enough that even my 6 foot husband can box and kick at the appropriate height when he wants. Even my 2 1/2 year old can use it for boxing (though isn't tall enough for kicking it at the lowest setting yet). It's nice we can have one bag for the entire family due to the adjustability. We have filled it with water and it still moves around a little bit when I punch and kick. I would recommend filling with sand if you want less movement. However, filled with water I can move it around by myself (and I only weigh 115#). I should have bought one years ago because it is so fun and is way cheaper than a gym membership!! ... show more

  • Good product
Color: Black 1
It’s sturdy enough. I wish it was a little smaller in circumference. But I like it and use it almost every day.
