If you need a simple light this is a really good choice. It is really bright and easily adjusts from white to blue to yellow. So easy to adjust it to your eye comfort. The remote is a little sensitive and needs to be pointed directly to the light. I was hoping it would work around corners but no luck. I would still recommend this product. Overall the light is great and I love how large it is compared to other recessed lighting options. My only complaint is that the box does not indicate that this is a Smart light and there are no directions on how to connect to your Smart system of choice. I returned to the Amazon page and found that I needed to use the SmartLife App and was able to figure out how to make it work. ... show more

As someone who has NEVER installed anything electrical before I can say, "dont be scared!" Just cut your electrical and this light is so super easy to install. I love the different light settings, the soft light for every day, natural lighting for my makeup application and selfies! The only thing was that I thought it had a night light setting, which would have been awesome since I have a newborn, the light does get pretty dim, but definitely not a night light. I would give these lights ten stars if I could. They were incredibly easy to install. Included instructions are easy to follow. They go from a night light setting to a very, very bright ceiling light. Easily paired with Alexa, cannot comment on any other voice control system.

The installation was easy, however, it constantly drops the pairing with WIFI. Now, it will not pair at all. I have several home automation products (one is in the same room and never has a connection problem). The light works with the remote just fine but will not pair. I'm past the return window for this item so now I'll have to uninstall it and find a more repeatable ceiling light. Look elsewhere for a smart ceiling light, you'll be glad you did. ... show more

Was looking for a bright LED light, this light was a great fit. Remote control and pairing with Home Automation app is a great addition. The options provided in the Remote it very good and relevant, favorite button is may fav. All 3 colors I liked it, due to the need we can change them very easy with low and high brightness. Very thin fixture, so it blends with ceiling very good, hooking it up is very easy, with that said, it's not easy for new installers. Somehow the provided rotary hanging plate is not universal, generally it's easy with these type of fixtures. The provided screw will not work at all in the traditional inserts, somehow I made it with the given one, if we over do it, the rotary may break. Would recommend, providing some more holes in the Rotary would benefit and the wire connect with the little connector is not a great fit, I don't have a screwdriver to operate them. ... show more
