My large Huskies have no issues getting through this door. It functions well. It has a very small plastic “tab” in the hinge that makes an audible “Click” when the door opens. It’s not terribly loud but my older Husky did not like it and refused to go back through after his first trip through. I easily trimmed it off with my pocket knife and he has been going in and out with no issues. It is a nice door. Just be prepared to cut a LARGE hole in your door. ... show more

Love it because it closes tightly! Although i am having trouble training my dog. I have another type on the outside door. She has no trouble with it. It takes a good bit more push to go through this door. Maybe keep the critters out.

It works but the door doesn't always shut all the way and water does get through a little bit. It was more affordable so I shouldn't be too surprised it isn't perfect. Installation sucked but that is because we had a weird door so not really this products fault. The piece that you can put on the back is annoying to put on because it doesnt slide well. It is a little more flimsy than expected. Overall you get what you pay for and if you are on a budget this works. ... show more
